Urich looked like a different player this weekend and played with real confidence. For the high school season, he had to play the glue guy role, but this was him being one of the top guys and showing that he could take over a game if needed. NoCo Elite was in some close ones for a bit before settling down and taking over, and Urich is the player who was continuously popping. He's a relentless defender who applies pressure, forces turnovers, and finishes on the other end. He plays bigger than his size, rebounds out of his area, and makes timely cuts. Urich was able to score as a slasher and excelled on second-chance opportunities. He looked very comfortable in his role and plays with a chip on his shoulder. This was a big-time weekend for a freshman making a statement.

Thacker may be undersized, but he plays with edge and confidence that stands out. He's a feisty guard who competes on every possession and makes defenders pay for how they guard him. He also seems to be a knockdown shooter who can get going from deep, and you have to keep a guy on him. In his Saturday games, he created off the bounce and stayed aggressive, hunting for his shots. He moves well without the ball and attacks when it swings his way. He's a creative scorer who continues to improve, and now he's showing it defensively as well. It was great to see him play players his age and not just varsity. Excited to see his growth this summer.

Hackley had one of the more impressive weekends of any freshman that I was able to see and showed he's ready for more responsibility. The game looks slow for him, and you can tell that he gets actual varsity minutes, which helps him in these situations. He consistently makes winning plays. Hackley was able to score at all three levels, created offense for himself, showcased himself as a created scorer, and impacted both ends with steals and blocks. Hackley brings undeniable energy, and I thought it would only be hustle, but now it's starting to click for him offensively. I'm curious to see how he looks by the end of the summer with more reps as the offensive guy who can also affect the game on defense as well. It was a stock-boosting summer for him.

Barry's physical tools immediately jump out with his size, length, and athleticism. He was active all weekend, finishing above the rim multiple times and grabbing rebounds in traffic. He gets inside and shows off soft touch and a mid-range game that keeps the defense off-balance. He also had one of the top dunks of the event, showing his explosiveness and ability to go up there. Barry has a two-way presence with upside, and that makes him a very intriguing prospect. He's going to be good when it all comes together, and if Barry continues to trend upward, this looks like a big summer for the forward.

Styles was one of the most physically dominant freshmen in the gym. His size, length, and strength make him tough to deal with, especially when he's attacking downhill or working on the block. He has an impressive wingspan and uses that to alter shots at the rim, and he had a few blocks as well. He also showcases his athleticism as he soars for rebounds as well. I like that Styles finished through contact, which you want to see a bit more of; he ran the floor for easy dunks and showed touch in the mid-range. As a screener and rim runner, he was effective, and that will only lead to easy baskets for him. Styles is a high-upside athlete gaining attention, and he's solidified himself on our radar a bit more.
