The combo guard position is filled with talent as players had big seasons to help their stocks in a big way. The 6'1 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. Johnson is more than just a shooter as he uses his quick first step to blow by his defender off the bounce and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. He can also play off the ball and slides his feet on the defensive end. The 6'4 guard has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Fernandez moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. He jumps passing lanes on the defensive end and can find his open teammates in the half court. Owusu uses his size to see over his defender and rarely forces shots in the half court. The 6'4 guard uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder.
