Despite the loss, Hodge was able to impress with an energetic 11-point effort. Splitting time both on and off the ball, he showed a valuable plug-and-play skillset in an active complementary role. He was effective from the perimeter with deep range as a smooth shooter off the catch, but was also able to get north-south while attacking closeouts off the dribble before showcasing a crafty finishing package around the rim. His handle is steady enough to initiate some offense at the point but Hodge’s future appears to be as a well-rounded utility guard at the scholarship level.

Hodge is a quick witted guard who uses his speed to take advantage of defenders. He finished with 13 points and two three pointers. He is very explosive and shows off his athleticism when he is going up to shag rebounds. I like his positional versatility showing that he can play on or off the ball. He didn’t let the ball stick to his hands.

Sanatana Hodge impressed with his ability to be a seamless fit offensively, providing steady offense both as a scorer and a connective facilitator. Hodge was effective knocking down outside shots as a spot up shooter and and finishing with craftiness in transition. Hodge also made a number of good decisions with the ball in his hands, passing up good looks for better looks for his teammates as well as advancing the ball up the floor in transition.

This player is a pure scorer with a strong shooting Stroke, especially from beyond the arc. Averaged an impressive 14 points per game. Constant threat on the perimeter, and he’s also shown improvement finishing inside. High scoring efficiency and range give him clear value offensively. As he continues to develop, adding to his all-around game could make him an even more complete threat.
