Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from Sectional 9 at Greenfield-Central High School for two semi-final matchups. Muncie Central took on Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A #4 Mt. Vernon (Fortville) in the first game and then Anderson played host Greenfield-Central in the nightcap. It'll be Mt. Vernon (Fortville) against Greenfield-Central on Saturday night for the championship as the Marauders won 71-38 and the Cougars won 71-52. Here are some of the top individual performers from Friday night.

Anderson struggled to get much going offensively on Friday night, and even Bowling III missed some shots around the basket, but he still willed his way to an impressive 33 points and 6 rebounds in a 71-52 loss to Greenfield-Central. The 6'4" sophomore wing has a very well-rounded offensive game with the athleticism and length to really cause matchup problems.

It comes as no surprise that we are writing about Ertel. A four-star prospect signed to play at Purdue, and Indiana's Mr. Basketball front-runner, Ertel finished with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in just three quarters of play while leading the Marauders to a 71-38 win over Muncie Central.

Greenfield-Central doesn't have a ton of pure size, but this 6'3" junior forward helps bring a little physicality to the floor. Evans scored 9 of his 17 points in the second quarter to help the Cougars maintain their lead as they went on to win 71-52 and advance to the Sectional 9 championship game.

Having the ability to catch-and-shoot, especially when playing with one of the best point guards in the country, will get you plenty of scoring opportunities. Guerre made the most of his open looks on Friday night as the left-handed catch-and-shoot specialist connected on six three-pointers for 18 points.

Humes played a big role in Greenfield-Central pulling away in the third quarter and then helped put the game on ice down the stretch providing some additional ball handling and athleticism to combat Anderson's constant ball pressure. The senior guard finished with 14 points in the 71-52 win for the Cougars.

It certainly wasn't his best statistical performance of the year, but Johnson looked like he belonged on the floor against a very talented, and veteran, Mt. Vernon (Fortville) team. The 6'3" talented sophomore guard finished with 8 points, but had several good looks from the paint that could have led to more. Johnson's best basketball is certainly ahead of him.

Mullins was on fire from the opening tip. The senior guard connected on three three-pointers, and was fouled on another, scoring all 13 of Greenfield-Central's points as they jumped out to a 13-4 lead. From there the Cougars never looked back. Mullins went on to finish with a team-high 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists in a 71-52 win.

An Indiana Junior All-Star candidate, Vise displayed his impressive versatility as a 6'8" forward on Friday night. He finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a blocked shot in Mt. Vernon (Fortville)'s 71-38 win over Muncie Central. We continue to really buy into Vise's upside.
