Each of the five prospects listed below are college ready, and in our opinion, at the right left and in the right system, could make a Day 1 impact for the right program.

Ekukwai, a forward out of Bridgeport Prep in Connecticut, is the definition of a powerful post prospect. The 6'9" big man has a chiseled frame, next level athleticism, and a motor that is always on. He's a force as a finisher around the basket, both as a crasher on the offensive glass and a hard roller out of ball screens. Defensively, he uses his athleticism and length to alter shots around the rim, moves well enough to switch onto the perimeter when needed, and does a great job of high pointing rebounds in traffic. His physical gifts alone should have the attention of scholarship levels programs, and when you combine that with his motor, I'd be shocked if he's not eventually on a Division I roster.

Maiwen, a guard out of Edward Little High School in Maine, continued to expand his game this winter while proving to be one of the top prospects in the MPA. The 6'2" guard averaged 22.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season, utilizing his athleticism, length, and quickness on both ends of the floor. He's got a great first step off the bounce, finishes it in a variety of ways around the rim, and has really improved the consistency of his perimeter jumper. Defensively, he can guard any spot on the perimeter and thrives both on the ball and in passing lanes. He's the type of twitchy athlete that could make an immediate impact at the Division III level, but with a prep year might attract the interest of scholarship level schools.

Aligbe, a forward out of the St. Andrew's School in Rhode Island, has all the makings of a modern four-man at the next level. The broad shouldered, 6'8" forward is a plus athlete that has proven inside-out scoring ability. He impressed this winter with his ability to come off of screens and knock down shots from the perimeter, while continuing to display the motor and athleticism that make him a tough rebounder and paint finisher on the offensive end of the floor. He can guard up and down a position, does a nice job of offering rim protection out of rotations, and should be able to guard wings on the perimeter at the next level. He has Division I interest and offers and should certainly be capable of playing, and making an impact, at that level.

O'Neil, a guard out of Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, is a consumate floor general that shows an ability to run an offense at a really high level in the half-court. He's got a low center of gravity and the ability to quick change speeds and directions, allowing him repeatedly get by his initial defender off the bounce. He's strong and shows the ability to play through contact as a driver, while also finishing well with creativity around the rim. As a shooter, he could still develop some more consistency from behind the arc, but is incredibly efficient in the mid-range. Defensively, he's willing to guard any spot on the floor and plays much bigger than his size on that end. He'll help a Division III team win a lot of games over the next four years and should be a priority for any programs looking for a true lead guard.

Padgett, a wing out of Bridgton Academy in Maine, reminded everyone why he was such an intriguing prospect out of Maine two years ago. He's a bigger guard that has the ability to operate as a jumbo playmaker in the half-court and in transition. He shows good floor vision as a passer, plays with patience and makes good reads out of ball screens, and has the ability to score it at all three levels. Defensively, he's got a lot of versatility as someone who could guard anywhere from ones to fours at the next level, while also operating as a grab-and-go rebounder. His physical tools and skillset make him a scholarship level prospect and I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at the Division II level.
