Padgett, a wing out of Bridgton Academy in Maine, reminded everyone why he was such an intriguing prospect out of Maine two years ago. He’s a bigger guard that has the ability to operate as a jumbo playmaker in the half-court and in transition. He shows good floor vision as a passer, plays with patience and makes good reads out of ball screens, and has the ability to score it at all three levels. Defensively, he’s got a lot of versatility as someone who could guard anywhere from ones to fours at the next level, while also operating as a grab-and-go rebounder. His physical tools and skillset make him a scholarship level prospect and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up at the Division II level.

Padgett, a post-graduate wing out of Bridgton Academy, has taken full advantage of his PG year, continuing to prove that he can impact games in more ways than just by scoring. A big guard, he has the ability to handle and make decisions in the half-court, can operate as a screener when needed, and knows how to slide off the ball and get into his scoring game as a defender. Where it really all comes together is on the defensive end of the floor, as he’s able to guard any position on the floor, rebounds in space and in traffic, and does a nice job of quickly turning defense into offense as a decision maker in transition. Still uncommitted, Padgett should have plenty of suitors at both the D2 and D3 levels, where he’ll be able to make an immediate impact with his two-way versatility.

Padgett, a wing out of Bridgton Academy, might have helped himself as much as any prospect at the event. He’s a big, ball-handling wing that can attack mismatches off the bounce from the perimeter or punish smaller defenders around the rim. He’s got a good first step, has a college ready frame, and plays with good athleticism in space. On top of all that, he’s a plus decision maker with the ball in his hands, shows versatility on the defensive end of the floor, and is also capable of rebounding at a high level on that end.

Padgett is a 6’5″ wing out of Bridgton Academy. The 2026 prospect is a jumbo creator that is at his best with the ball in his hands. While he shows the ability to make shots from the perimeter and to score with athleticism at the rim, he has a great feel for the game with the ball in his hands and uses his size and vision to his advantage as a playmaker. He’s really good in transition, showing an understanding of when to pitch it ahead and when to push the ball with the bounce. He’s a grab and go rebounder that can guard up and down a position and has the ability to guard both in space and in the paint.

Padgett is an extremely well-rounded, two-way wing for Bridgton Academy. He can play on and off the ball as a result of his shooting and closeout driving ability but also his change of speed and handle in the pick and roll. He loves getting downhill and finishing at the hoop, but he also has the IQ to make simple passes for his teammates. And, he does some little things, too, like rebounding phenomenally well for his position and therefore allowing him to guard 1-4. Definite scholarship prospect who will make a college coach very happy.

Padgett, a member of BBN’s 17U squad, is a do-it-all wing out of Bridgton Academy in Maine. A high basketball IQ prospect with a well-rounded floor game, he’s at his best when he can operate as a creator with the ball in his hands. He’s incredibly versatile, able to play on or off the ball on one end of the floor and to guard four positions on the other. He makes good reads as a passer in the half-court, does a nice job of manipulating the defense when creating out of ball screens, and is able to score through contact in the paint. He’s a plus athlete that can knock down shots when he gets his feet set behind the arc. On the other end, he makes high level reads off the ball, showing the ability to block shots, take charges, and make steals in passing lanes.
