Crowdis, a guard out of Bridgton Academy in Maine, checks in at #5 among the point guards and #26 overall. The 6’4″ guard took full advantage of his post-grad year at Bridgton, proving to be one of the best playmakers in New England. With good size on the perimeter, he does a lot of things well on the offensive end of the floor, including scoring it at all three levels. He has good burst, the ability to make plays for others with the ball in his hands, and is an excellent decision maker in transition. On the other end, he really competes defensively, has the ability to make an impact on the glass, and makes plays in passing lanes that lead to turnovers. He has yet to announce his future plans.

It’s unfortunate Bridgton ran into Blair Academy so early, because they really could’ve made a run with what they were getting out of Sylla and Crowdis. Sylla’s pick and roll partner is a 6-foot-4 maestro who has phenomenal feel and can make every read in the book. He has deep range and can make shots off the dribble, so you can’t go under screens on him; but if you go over, he’ll put you in jail or split the hedge and make crafty finishes and passes in the paint. I was also ridiculously impressed with the way Crowdis attacked the ball defensively and consistently got deflections, jump balls, and steals because of his aggression and good hands. He’s a D1 player.

Crowdis, a senior guard out of Bridgton Academy in Maine, has been phenomenal in his first year of prep ball in the states. Bridgton may be the surprise team of the season out of AAA, with Crowdis being a big reason why they sit in 2nd place at 6-4 in league games. Crowdis is a big and athletic guard that has done a great job of getting into the paint off the bounce and making plays for himself and others. He can score it in a variety of ways around the rim, makes tough shots in isolation situations, and, on top of that, is a high level and multi-positional defender on the other end of the floor. Few guards in the region are filling up the stat sheet night in and night out like he is. Crowdis remains uncommitted at this point in time, but recently picked up an offer from Cal State Bakersfield.

Crowdis has been outright RIDICULOUS as of late and has an argument as one of the best player in the entire NEPSAC over the course of the last couple weeks. The 6-foot-4 guard is lighting it up from three, both off the catch and off the dribble, but he’s also showing the ability to dominate out of the pick and roll. He does an amazing job splitting the double team and finding the short roller for pocket passes, but he’s also a controlled and heady finisher at the rim if you don’t stop his drive. Crowdis is just going to consistently make high-level decisions for himself and others, and D1 schools are starting to notice. He should be getting some more offers shortly.

Crowdis has been one of the biggest risers of this prep season, but I still think he might be undervalued. The 6-foot-4 point guard has phenomenal size, length, and athleticism for his position, but he also has the skillset and IQ necessary to make every read a floor general needs to be able to make. Crowdis also gets solid elevation on his shot and is a knock down shooter from the mid range and perimeter, while also excelling as a finisher in the lane (especially when it comes to double-clutch layups). Crowdis strikes me as a scholarship player who’s getting under recruited.

Crowdis, a guard out of Bridgton Academy, made his presence felt with his two-way athleticism and playmaking instincts. The big, 6’4″ guard has a quick first step and covers a lot of ground with his long strides. He’s a creative finisher around the rim, proving capable of scoring over the defense or through them. He makes good decisions as a passer, delivers the ball to his teammates in their scoring spots, and is a quality late shot clock scorer. Defensively, he stands out with his ability to make plays on the ball or in passing lanes, while creating turnovers at a high level.
