Wiley set the Wyoming all-time scoring record with a first quarter layup and that was the opening for a historic night for Wiley as not only does he become the all-time scorer for the Cowboys but he also wins the state title in his final game in a Cowboy uniform. A tremendous game by Wiley as he finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. A powerful dunk in the fourth quarter to put the Cowboys up thirty points sent the Wyoming faithful to their feet. All of Wiley's offensive production doesn't even show the incredible impact he had as a defensive player in this one, flying around the court and causing havoc in the zone defense Wyoming used.

An efficient game for Gray, making six of nine field goal attempts, including a coast-to-coast floater at the first quarter buzzer to extend Wyoming's lead to double-digits after the first eight minutes. Gray wants to get downhill and if you don't stop his dribble penetration, he will find a lot of success in the paint. Dominant team effort by the Cowboys in a blowout state title win.

It was very impressive that Evans was one of the best players in Dayton despite not shooting the ball as well as he usually does from 3-point range. The strides Evans had made as a defender, cutter and finisher at the rim are major reasons why he was able to find so much success this weekend without going bananas from 3-point range like everybody knows he is capable of. My favorite Evans play on Friday was a power and-1 finish off a cut to the rim. Impressive to see Evans continue to expand his game and be much more than just a perimeter shooter to help his team lift the state title trophy.

It would feel incomplete to not include all four of the Wyoming seniors in this article, as they all played crucial roles on Friday and throughout the four years this core group wore the Cowboys uniform. Billingsley had a handful of putback layups in this contest, finishing with a 20 point, 12 rebound double-double performance. While this is the end of the ride for the core four seniors at Wyoming and they'll go out on top, Billingsley and Wiley will team up at Ashland University next season.

Back-to-back heroic nights for Dennis, who hit the game-tying shot at the buzzer Vs Toledo Central Catholic to send the game to overtime on Thursday night, and on Friday night he hit the game-winning layup with eight seconds left to lift the Rams to the state title. A power athlete, Dennis plays with impressive physicality in all aspects of the game. As a driver, Dennis makes contact with the defender to make sure he has the leverage advantage. As a rebounder, Dennis uses his explosiveness and physicality to come down with rebounds over taller players. Defensively, Dennis covers a ton of ground and is valuable as a help-side rim protector and is able to guard basically any position on the court. Incredible state tournament performance by Dennis, who was fueled by an incredible home crowd at UD Arena this weekend.

On a night where neither team could get much offense going on the perimeter, Bowers hit some key jumpers to bring Steubenville back from a 5-8 point deficit they seemed to face the entire second half to eventually take the lead in the final 30 seconds. Bowers did a nice job of moving without the basketball and the chemistry he has with his little brother Landon is obvious as the duo connected for some easy looks. This Steubenville team surprised a lot of people due to the sacrifices their seniors made this season and the toughness they played with on a nightly basis, allowing them to go on this run to the state title game.
