Whether it's size, pace, decision-making, or the ability to impact the game on both ends, these players check boxes that matter beyond high school. As we close the book on the 2026 rankings, here are the next-level players whose games point toward what's coming, not just what's been.

Tre is one of the top PG's in the entire state with his ability to feed the open man, keep the offense flowing, and he made the right plays on the floor. Teammates seemed to run faster when he got the ball as he passed players into easy scoring opportunities, and that plays is contagious. He was the team's X factor and what made them so dangerous. In his senior year, he progressed in every game. He put up 9.5 points and was a Top 5 passer in the state at 6.3 assists per game. Tre found a groove and was able to be impactful in every outing, and is a player who can play at the next level.

McNeal is pound-for-pound one of the best athletes in the entire state, and this year he showed there's a bit more to his game than just his leaping ability. McNeal put up 13.5 points a game as the ball was in his hands. He stepped up offensively when Overland was missing their leading scorer and became the guy who led them to a few victories and impacted the game in various ways. The 5'10 guard got out and was electric in the open court. He scored from 3-point range as well as mid-range pull-ups and attacked the rim and dished it off to open teammates. He's a player who feel can certainly play at the next level and should have juco's knocking on his door as he can help a team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1622329' first='Soren' last='Singer'] is a 6'3 wing, but he might've held claim to being the best passer in the entire state the last two seasons. He led the state in assists the last two seasons, and it wasn't close, but he also checked off other boxes as well as being a complete player. Singer averaged 10.1 points and 8.2 rebounds a game as well, and was the only player in the state that has had a double-double in points/rebounds and also points/assists. He also had multiple triple-doubles, and he's truly a Swiss-army-knife kind of player. Singer was an under-the-radar standout who can certainly play at the next level.

Davis was one of the bright spots for Pueblo Central this year as the 6'2 forward was a paint beast. He moved defenders down on the block, finished with his back to the basket, and also had a face-up game that gave defenders issues. Davis averaged 15 points and 9.3 rebounds a game; he had multiple double-doubles, and despite teams trying to send doubles, his consistency shone through. Davis is a big man who I feel would benefit from other solid guard play around him, but had to step up and be the team's scorer, and that's why I think his game translates to the next level. He has a great motor, he's relentless on the boards, and is a versatile defender. He's a player who jumped on our radars this year and finished off his senior year strong.

Sandoval was Bear Creek's leading scorer this season at 14.4 points a game and went through some big stretches this year. He finished up the season on a high as he scored in double figures in 9 straight games and showed he could shoot the 3-ball, play off the bounce, and also make quick decisions with the ball. He's a guard who plays with confidence and has contagious play. When he made up his mind to get teammate sinvolved, the offense came a bit easier for him, and he showed he can be a playmaking guard who can run the offense this year. He's a player who I feel can play at the next level in the 2026 class.
