Sandoval was Bear Creek’s leading scorer this season at 14.4 points a game and went through some big stretches this year. He finished up the season on a high as he scored in double figures in 9 straight games and showed he could shoot the 3-ball, play off the bounce, and also make quick decisions with the ball. He’s a guard who plays with confidence and has contagious play. When he made up his mind to get teammate sinvolved, the offense came a bit easier for him, and he showed he can be a playmaking guard who can run the offense this year. He’s a player who I feel can play at the next level in the 2026 class. 

Sandoval is the team’s leading scorer, and the senior guard has been who the team has looked to to lead the way. He’s the captain on the floor who teams try and take away, and he still consistently leads the team. He’s in a very good stretch offensively where he’s putting up double-digit scoring, being quick to make decisions with the ball in his hands, and he’s also shooting the ball better than he ever has. He’ll need that as they face a rowdy group that is battle-tested. It will be on him to have one of his best games of the season and keep the season alive. 

Sandoval is coming on fast and has taken a noticeable jump this season, increasing his production across the board for Bear Creek. He’s averaging 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, and he’s at his best with the ball in his hands. Sandoval plays with pace but stays under control, using tight handles to break down defenders and get downhill where he finishes through contact. He’s a true three level scorer who can hurt defenses from anywhere on the floor. On the other end his defensive instincts stand out, as he anticipates passing lanes and competes every possession. That blend of improved numbers, offensive versatility and two way impact is why Sandoval’s stock is rising quickly

Sandoval is the engine that Bear Creek will rely on this season, and his importance can’t be overstated. Coming off a strong year averaging 11.8 points, he’s a fast paced point guard who lives in attack mode. Few players get downhill with his level of force, and he consistently finishes through traffic at the rim. His speed puts pressure on defenses from the opening tip, and when he’s going, Bear Creek’s entire offense elevates. With momentum from last year’s late season push, Sandoval is positioned to take another leap and become the catalyst for a team looking to turn the corner
