Led the tournament in scoring and erupted for a tournament-high 33 points in a quarterfinal win over West Valley. His combo of size and shooting ability allowed him to rise up from just about any spot and knock down shots. He was a tough matchup and his ability to stretch the floor made a huge impact for Richland on their run to a state title. While many became mesmerized by his shooting, Northrop also piled up other counting stats, highlighting his overall impact for the Bombers.

Hunt is a bit of a deceptive player. He quietly and consistently accumulates stats, until crunch time when he has shown he can take over and hit the big shots. He was instrumental in the Kangs' third-place finish, pouring in 29 points in their final game to put Emerald Ridge away. Hunt was one of the more efficient guards scoring from every spot on the floor, and finished as the second-leading scorer in the tournament.

The second half of Richland's dynamic duo, Horntvedt scored the third-most points in the tournament, and he often did so in a pretty demoralizing manner. The 6-foot-8 guard was maybe the most unique player in the tournament, with his ability to play with strength and power inside, and his potent midrange game that included turnarounds and pull-up jumpers over tight defense. It was simply too much to ask a team to defend both him and Northrop. Horntvedt also took on some key defensive roles, including matching up with [player_tooltip player_id='1587955' first='Parker' last='Mills'] in a key battle in the quarterfinals.

Nasinec was one of the biggest stock-risers of this season, and his 19.3 points per game during the tournament showed how dynamic an offensive threat he has become. He was one of just four players in the entire tournament who finished in the top-10 in FGM, 3PM, and FTM. Add to that eight rebounds and a block per game, and you have a one pretty important player. Nasinec and the Vikings may not have placed this year, but they were the only team to play in two overtime games in the tournament, and it took a total of three overtimes to outlast Puyallup in their final two losses.

Pierce was a lightning rod of energy and effort across Gonzaga Prep's four games at the Tacoma Dome. The 5-foot-10 guard was constantly working into the paint and forcing the issue, and his Bullpups relied a lot on his ability to create penetration and get the defense moving. Proof of his relentless effort were his 19 total rebounds (12th), nine offensive rebounds (4th), and 11 steals (1st). On top of all that, he was top-10 in scoring and led Gonzaga Prep to a second-place finish.

Nagel was in the driver seat for Glacier Peak during their sixth-place run at this year's tournament. While different teammates stepped up in different games, Nagel was the constant for the Grizzlies. He led the tournament in assists with 26, ten more than the next most. He was top-five in total points, and top-10 in FGM, 3PM, and FTM. And, for a guy who caught our eye his freshman year with his hustle and hard play, it's only fitting he goes out leading his final state tournament in total minutes played.
