Hunt is a bit of a deceptive player. He quietly and consistently accumulates stats, until crunch time when he has shown he can take over and hit the big shots. He was instrumental in the Kangs’ third-place finish, pouring in 29 points in their final game to put Emerald Ridge away. Hunt was one of the more efficient guards scoring from every spot on the floor, and finished as the second-leading scorer in the tournament.

Hunt had a relatively quiet first half scoring the ball, but displayed great vision off his paint takes, and had a couple of big threes. In the second half, he came through with another clutch three to take the lead and go up two with 2:23 remaining. He also used his craftiness inside to work his way to the foul line and get some efficient points.

Hunt had a breakout season last winter, scoring over 20 points per game and leading Lake Washington to an excellent year. He’s a smaller guard who understands how to play with deception, change his speeds, and stay on the hunt while making good reads. Can score from tough angles and does well to set up teammates while defenses focus a lot of eyes on him.

Jayden is a real bucket getter, taking a huge step this AAU season on the court. His change of pace is excellent and his jumper is one of the smoothest in the entire state, regardless of class. Hunt gets to the rim in a variety of ways, using different moves to get the bucket and uses contact to his advantage in the paint.
