Their final season of AAU is getting started and the 2027 class are officially Seniors in basketball terms. This class is good and deep with several players already holding multiple D1 offers already. These rankings have a total of 268 players ranked for the class and there have been several new names in this update as well as some serious movement, including a new number one overall for the rankings. Let's dive into the bottom half of our top ten in the class.

Omari is coming off of a fantastic Junior season where he led Woodford County to a really strong year and made the regional semifinals. Jointer is a downhill driver who gets into the paint consistently and is an above average finisher when he gets to the rim. Omari shoots it just well enough to keep defenses honest. He recently earned his first D1 offer and could have more coming his way soon.

Nolan is one of my favorite prospects in this class because he plays super hard and does a ton of things that impact winning. Coffman has several D1 offers to choose from already but could make the jump to being a mid major to high major recruit with a big summer on the AAU circuit. Likely to be a big wing or undersized 4 man in college, Nolan could see his stock really take off if he makes a high percentage of threes this summer.

Tyce is one of the most high upside players in Kentucky. He is capable of getting to the rim early and often. When Jarvis' motor is running, he's a top 3 player in Kentucky. If he continues adding bulk to his wiry frame, look for Tyce to add several more offers to his list of D1 suitors over the course of this spring and summer.

Gilvin is, in my opinion, the best player in the 27 class that never gets talked about with the rest. Garrison does a ton for Trinity. He scores, he rebounds and he creates for others. Not to mention how hard he guards the ball. He also posted 50/40/79 shooting splits on the season. With a big AAU season, Garrison could earn his first scholarship offers.

Holding strong at the ten spot, Roberts is one of the best point guards in the state. Capable of scoring when needed or setting up his teammates, Fairdale should be in the mix to win the 6th region next season behind Roberts, [player_tooltip player_id='1745595' first='Michael' last='Ray Stinnett'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2479666' first='Jarel' last='Butler']. Kamari is exceptional at getting to the foul line and converts at a high rate when he gets there. If he can consistently shoot 38%+ from three, expect more scholarship offers to come his way soon.
