An impressive athlete, Akins had some above the rim layups and excels at finishing with his right hand. Akins had a strong finish with his left hand on a drive. In the second quarter Akins hit back-to-back 3-pointers including a heat check pull-up from the top of the key. Johnson had multiple drop off assists where he drove middle down the lane and fed one of his teammates on the block for an easy layup. Johnson started the game with a sweet reverse layup off a nice offensive set, showing his ability to play within a system. Jarvis caught the ball on the wing did a quick rip and go move and had a nasty dunk in traffic to get the strong Montgomery County support up off their feet. Jarvis followed that up with back-to-back 3-pointers to give his team some momentum late in the first half. Maybe the highlight of the game came when Jarvis dropped a defender on a crossover before hitting a mid-range pull-up jumper. Gentry is a confident shooter off the catch and also scored a couple times in the paint where the ball found him near the rim.
