After struggling in the first half, Gentry made a bunch of shots and plays in the second half to make this game interesting for almost the full 32 minutes. Gentry is a confident shooter off the catch and also scored a couple times in the paint where the ball found him near the rim. While Montgomery County had an up and down season, they started to hit their stride towards the end of the year and veteran leaders like Gentry were big reasons why.

Another new name for myself, Gentry shot the ball with extreme confidence on Thursday night, knocking down a handful of 3-pointers off the catch. When Montgomery County broke the full court pressure George Rogers Clark threw at them, they looked at Gentry on the wing to knock down jumpers before the defense could set up in the half-court. Gentry also liked his left hand on finishes at the rim and made a clutch bucket off a DHO in the fourth quarter. Impressive overall showing from Gentry on Thursday night.
