This 2026 class is almost done. Hard to believe it but we have had rankings for this class since they were Freshmen and have followed them all the way through their high school careers. There has been a TON of movement over the years with these kids in both the rankings and in their high school careers. This class has seen a ton of transfers into and out of (and often back into) the state over their careers. Let's break down the final edition of the rankings and focus on the Power Forward position.

Watkins is a versatile player whose best is better than the best of a lot of players in this Senior class. DeAaron had a great season for Daviess County and recently decommitted from McKendree University so he is now one of our top unsigned Seniors in the state.

Gavin had a really strong season with Caverna after returning from Victory Rock Prep in Florida. I'm a big fan of lightning thanks to his positional versatility and his ability to score the ball at every level. An active rebounder with a good motor, Lightning is another of the top unsigned players in Kentucky.

Hayden is a big body who has shown his versatility over the past couple of seasons. Shouse averaged 22 points and 9 rebounds per game for a Meade County squad that made it all the way to the regional title game. Hayden previously announced a reclass to the 2027 class with a post grad year. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment could end up after next year.

Adams is a player with some serious long term potential and the ability to score the ball in addition to being a really high level defender and rim protector. Taeshawn bounced back from a fluke injury where he broke both of his wrists last summer and had a really good season. One of my favorite unsigned players in the class, Adams has a chance to be really good in college.

One of the better "sleeper" players in the class, Landon has the ability to score the ball all over the floor and has shown himself to be capable of even playing on the wing at times. A good rebounder who also offers some rim protection, Blakey should be a steal for someone at the next level.
