Despite these challenges, the stage was set on February 3rd for a pivotal WCAC matchup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Paul VI Catholic, entering the game with an impressive 20-2 overall record and an undefeated 7-0 in league play, traveled to face DeMatha, who stood at 16-5 overall and 6-1 in league competition. Handling the Stags double/triple teams with passing the ball to open teammates. Who rewarded the Panthers with hot 3pt shooting to open up the game with a 19-5 1st quarter margin. And this DeMatha game was Brandon Young turn. Brandon enters the game in the 1<sup>st</sup> quarter after Ryan Bahr picked up two quick fouls. Came right in the game and stroke a corner 3. Next possession grabs an offensive rebound and score on a putback. Give him 5 points in less than 45 seconds. Second half Brandon continue his solid play using his length play sound positional defense and continue his offensive punch hitting another 3pt jumper and finish on a transition layup. If Brandon continues to give this kind of effort going into the playoffs. And the beginning of this game was the same beginning. He benefitted from Jordan Smith timely passing and opposing big man lives him all alone and he calmy knocked the first points of the game with a 20-foot jumper. Matthew might not be most athletic prospect.
