He has good size, elite athleticism, and once he makes his mind up he can't be stopped. It's just about doing that consistently. As his scoring has slowed down from the hot start to the season, he's found other ways to be effective. Atkinson has been a solid rebounder; he runs the floor well and finishes. In the past few games, he's been very assertive, and opponents have had to foul him where he's gotten going from the FT line. We want to keep that same aggressiveness on both ends of the floor as he's a spark who can sway games. They have reliable guard play and big men who compete. Hopkins has brought it all season and been one of the best parts of the season. He's a glue guy and a catalyst for the team that they operate around, and he's a vital piece to the puzzle. The 6'4 forward has been all over the boards; he's set screens and rolled and backed defenders down for tough baskets. Hopkins is a strong and traditional big with soft touch around the rim; he boards out of his area and runs the floor well. He has excellent hand-eye coordination and finishes. He's up to 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds a game and is a big reason that Cherokee Trail has been turning heads all season long. Moore rebounds well from the guard spot, starts the break, and gets the offense in the set when things look chaotic.
