Prospects Spotlight | Penn vs Fishers

The highly anticipated matchup that was supposed to be played back on December 13th apart of the Forum Tip-Off Classic at Southport, but was cancelled due to weather across the state. Two teams loaded with talent that are looking to Mae deep tournament runs. Here are eight prospects to know ahead of the game:    Shifty point guard that has excelled in his role as the Kingsmen's sixth man. Quick first step that plays with a high IQ. Pass first point guard that really pushes the tempo in transition. Great court vision out of pick and rolls and does an exceptional job picking his spots to create for himself.     As complete of a prospect as there is in the in-state class of 2028, [player_tooltip player_id='2457404' first='Caleb' last='Coolman'] can do it all on the floor. True lead guard that doesn't get sped up. He's lethal in the pick and roll balancing scoring and facilitating. He's a knock down shooter with a high release and deep range. Offensively he's a matchup nightmare at 6'5” with the ability to overpower smaller players while stretching the defense when he gets a big man to switch on him.     Crafty senior guard that does a good job doing whatever the team needs from him. Need him to run the offense and get guys involved? He's capable of doing that. He's an excellent shooter off the catch with deep range and smooth release. He's shown the ability to get in the lane and finish in a variety of different ways, including a nice floater with soft touch.     Physical junior post presence that seems to get better every time he steps on the floor. A bit raw offensively, he dominates the game in the defensive end as a rim protector and rebounder. Moves his feet well with the ability to switch into guards and keep them in front for short spurts. Rim running big that gets from one of the floor to the other. Good hands that has a wide catch radius and can finish through contact. Has shown flashes of a 15 foot jumper while also showing he can put it on the floor and make a move to the basket in an isolation situation.     The versatile senior wing has played in 11 games since being ruled eligible and has been a difference maker on both ends of the floor. An active defender that is able to guard multiple positions at a high level. He's aggressive in passing lanes while also being another rim protector on the back line next to McGrew. Offensively, he's an excellent cutter off the ball that's capable of finishing plays above the rim and through contact. He's a capable three-point shooter off the catch with a clean stroke. Has also shown flashes of a good handle that allows him to get to his spot on the floor and rise up in the midrange or get all the way to the basket. Willing passer with good court vision that at 6'6” allows him to see over the defense.     A top 5 player in the state for a reason, [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] is an absolute stud on the low block. Has the ability to play all over the floor. Has shown unique playmaking abilities on inverted pick and rolls. He's one of the top three-point threats shooting 46% on the year. Defensively, he's a physical paint presence that alters any shot around the rim and rebounds at a high level on both ends of the floor.     A junior wing that was expected to see more minutes at the varsity level, [player_tooltip player_id='2470635' first='Levi' last='Walker'] has blown away any expectations. The 6'4” Wing is the perfect role player for this talented Fishers squad. He's a high level defender that can guard multiple positions as well as being a nice back side offensive threat that has shown to be a good off ball cutter that finishes plays above the rim and also being a capable three-point shooter off the catch.     One of the most gifted offensive players in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary'], no matter how many times I see him, he does things on the floor that still amaze me. The sharp shooting lead guard has taken on a more on-ball role with the injury to [player_tooltip player_id='2194415' first='Jason' last='Gardner'] Jr and has kept the Fishers train rolling right along. He impacts the game on both ends of the floor as well as any player in the state. In the gym range and a craftiness to his game with excellent court vision.
