District tournaments start next Monday and lots of teams are playing 2-3 games this week as a result of all the cancellations from the winter storm that hit at the end of January. With only a week until postseason kicks off, let's take a look at some teams and players to watch heading into district tournaments.

Owensboro Catholic

Edmonson County

X-Factor: [player_tooltip player_id='2779405' first='Caden' last='Gaither'], Grayson County - Gaither was an early in the year transfer from Collins to Grayson County and has figured out a role for himself as the season has gone along. In order for Grayson to beat Daviess County, the Cougars will likely need to win a shootout. To do that, Gaither has a chance to be a big time option as the 3rd or 4th scorer for a pretty loaded Grayson roster. With [player_tooltip player_id='1745592' first='Jack' last='Logsdon'], [player_tooltip player_id='1543598' first='Jagger' last='Mardis'], [player_tooltip player_id='2154116' first='Brody' last='Armstrong'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125724' first='Spencer' last='Langdon'] all being double figure scorers, Caden should give them another player capable of going off for 20+ points in the regional tournament.

Clinton County

Cumberland County

X-Factor: Cade Button, Clinton County - Button famously transferred to Clinton County after the season had already started. Now that he's been eligible for a few games, Cade will need to get back to his high scoring ways for Clinton County to be able to compete with Warren Central in a regional tournament setting. William Beaty and Jaxson Mason have been the driving force behind Clinton's big season so far but Cade Button is the player who could tip the scales in a regional tournament matchup.

Most likely regional champion: Warren Central

Most likely regional tournament MVP: Kaleb Prince, Warren Central
