District tournaments start next Monday and lots of teams are playing 2-3 games this week as a result of all the cancellations from the winter storm that hit at the end of January. With only a week until postseason kicks off, let's take a look at some teams and players to watch heading into district tournaments.

Region 1:

McCracken County

Paducah Tilghman

Mayfield

Graves County

Marshall County

Murray

X-Factor: Luke Armstong, Calloway County - The tightest race in the region is which team will be the second team to advance out of the 4th district. Murray has beaten Calloway County 3 times this season but each time has been very close. Luke is essentially the only guy left of the main contributors of Calloway's regional title team last season. At 6'6", Luke is averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds per game on the season. He's a tough cover for a Murray team that will have to get past the Lakers to make the regional.

Most likely regional champion: McCracken County

Caldwell County

Hopkinsville

Christian County

X Factor: Isaac Defew, Lyon County - Lyon County won the All A state title but turned around and lost to Henderson County the next day. It seems like Lyon County and Henderson County are the top two teams in the region and a rematch could determine the second region representative at Rupp Arena. In the first matchup, Defew only had 4 points and didn't grab a single rebound. If the Lyons want to get past Henderson County in the regional tournament, Isaac needs to be better.
