The state tournament is here, meaning teams are fighting to make deep runs. Non-Public B is filled with talent that will look to carry their teams to deeps runs, especially in the front court. Here are the Non-Public B forward prospects to track in the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342640' first='Austin' last='Workman'], 6'5 SF Morris Catholic 2026

Workman has been a force for the Crusaders all season long, which should continue in the state tournament. The 6'5 wing explodes off the floor for dunks and is unafraid of drawing contact in the paint. Workman is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Workman is a talented forward prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor during the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1944384' first='Kahlik' last='Thomas'], 6'5 SF Roselle Catholic 2026

Thomas has had some big games for the Lions this season and is primed for a big state tournament. The 6'5 forward knows how to get position in the paint and has a nice touch around the rim. Thomas can also put the ball on the floor and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Thomas is a gritty forward prospect who is looking to conclude his varsity career with another Non-Public B title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504896' first='William' last='Brunson'], 6'6 SF Rutgers Prep 2028

Brunson can also play in the back court as he has been one of the top sophomores in the state this season. The 6'6 wing has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish through contact. Brunson plays with confidence on the ball and uses his size to see over his defender. He influences the game on the defensive end with his length and is comfortable pushing the pace on the break. Brunson is a talented wing prospect who should put his full game on display during the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2438144' first='Tristan' last='Ganges'], 6'7 SF Holy Cross Prep 2026

Ganges has been a key part of the Lancers' success this season as he's shown his ability to control the paint. The 6'7 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and sets his feet before he shoots. Ganges can also get position in the post and has a high release on his jumper. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots around the rim. Ganges has been a presence down low for Holy Cross Prep this season, which he should carry over into the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2634334' first='Merrick' last='Olkowski'], 6'6 SF/SG St. Mary's Rutherford 2026

Olkowski has been the unsung hero for the Gaels this season, averaging 11.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The 6'6 forward has a good release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Olkowski is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is a strong rebounder and uses good timing to get blocks and steals on the defensive end. Olkowski has had some big games down the stretch for St. Mary's Rutherford, which the Gaels will need for them to make a deep run in the state tournament.
