Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
His gangly length allows him to disrupt passing and driving lanes on the defensive end. He does a good job starting the break and finding teammates moving up the floor. I like how active he is on the glass, consistently impacting possessions with his rebounding. He has shown steady improvement over time, but continuing to tighten and sharpen his handle will be important for his development.

After a porous first half offensive effort from a team standpoint, Ganges came out from the halftime locker room and made it clear that Holy Cross wouldn’t go down without a fight. The senior forward scored the first six points of the second half to help shrink an 18-point deficit down to 10 before most of the crowd had returned to its seats. He scored 10 points overall, showing his ability to create his own shot out of faceups and use his length to finish effectively inside. Ganges also shows a stable foundation as a shooter, both off the catch and on his one-dribble elbow pullup. He’s perhaps most impactful on the defensive end where he brings a rare blend of length and mobility that make him a difficult matchup for a wide variety of opponents. The senior forward is still young in his development, having not received significant varsity reps until this year, pointing to an intriguing upside as a ball of clay to mold whether at the small-college, prep, or even scholarship levels.

After transferring mid-year from Conwell-Egan of the vaunted Philly Catholic League, Ganges is primed to make a notable splash during his lone season across the bridge at Holy Cross. While still putting the pieces together, he brings a tantalizing combination of a long, athletic frame and inside-out versatility. A true Swiss-army forward, he finishes well around the cup off cuts or straight-line drives while running the floor and covering ground effortlessly with impactful length on both ends. He shows potential as a shooter out to the arc, but has begun to thrive as of late while showing more of an impetus to attack rather than float to the perimeter. Ganges fits the mold of an under-the-radar gem at the small-college level, but could also benefit from a prep year to further his development and potentially push his way to the scholarship level given his natural physical gifts.
