Best of the best from the West Metro Classic, we honor them today.

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2435232' first='Jumair' last='Wright'] of Minneapolis South (Soph). Wright went on a seven basket scoring run that changed the game quick. South hit threes from all over and it was led by Wright who made seven threes plus grabbed seven boards and dished out seven assists. He had 30 points on 11 of 16 shooting overall but it was the seven threes that Westonka could not get to. Wright also got a dribble inside the arc to put together his seven assists and his four makes at the cup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569234' first='Dejon' last='Scott Jr'] of Concordia Academy (Jr). In a loss, Scott scored 30 points against a ranked team and it was an outstanding individual effort. With Scott as the focus of the defense he still found ways to score including a steal of Ward to go the other way, a quick transition pull-up, and the ability to separate and get through multiple defenders. His separation game is very good, he scored contested shots, hit with range, and Scott has really good hands. An impressive performance that was only bested by Wright in this event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560741' first='Will' last='Kirsch'] of Waconia (Sr). Kirsch continues to push closer to PJ a yes when it comes to that all time scoring record as he had 29 points in helping the Cats beat Tonka by double figures.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447536' first='Jed' last='Streed'] of Southwest Christian (Sr). Streed had 30 points as SW Christian took every punch that GSL had and scored even more with a 95-80 win. Streed was the main active scoring option taking advantage of the Stars size and length advantage to get things done actively in the paint.

Logan Comfort of Heritage Christian (Jr). Logan led his team to a win with 27 points highlighted by 11 of 18 shooting including five three-pointers and five rebounds. HCA beat Mankato Loyola 74-63.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386616' first='Gavin' last='Bauer'] of Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Soph). Gavin scored a game high 24 points in the JWP win over Jordan as JWP remains undefeated as a top three team in Class A basketball.

Second Team

Andrew Coleman of Holy Family (Sr). Drew scored a game high 18 points for a balanced Fire effort to beat Concordia Academy 79-68.

Daulton Bauer of Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Sr). Dalton put up 22 points in a 20 point win moving JWP to 16-0 on the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2845973' first='Jack' last='Burke'] of Southwest Christian (Sr). A sharp shooter for the Stars, Burke scored 26 points and helped opened the floor for three other teammates to hit double figures as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409303' first='Ramadan' last='Ibrahim'] of Minneapolis South (Jr). His four threes and 9 of 16 shooting overall helped stretch the Westonka defense too far to slow the Tigers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560786' first='Lexyn' last='Grof'] of Holy Family (Sr). Gave his team 17 points in a balanced effort that helped the Fire get back into the top ten.

Third Team

Cayden Heydt of Stewartville (Sr). Heydt scored 15 getting to the line and scoring near the basket plus he played a tough game rebounding for the Tigers who won 75-62.

[player_tooltip player_id='2072414' first='Malik' last='Abdi'] of Stewartville (Sr). Led the Tigers in scoring in this game with 16 points beating Delano.

Mika James of Westonka (Jr). Had 17 points and five assists on 9 of 16 shooting in the loss to South.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121339' first='Anthony' last='Ortiz'] of Minnetonka (Sr). Ortiz is the Skipper leading scorer and he put up 19 points in the Tonka loss to Waconia.

[player_tooltip player_id='2423114' first='Lincoln' last='Busse'] of Glencoe-Silver Lake (Jr). The junior had 27 of his team's 80 points in a loss to Southwest Christian.

Fourth Team

Isaiah Coyle of Heritage Christian (Jr). Coyle hit three threes and scored 15 points while also grabbing seven rebounds.

Ben Tellers of Delano (Sr). Scored a team high 16 points for the Tigers in a loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140577' first='Carson' last='Kuchenbecker'] of Delano (Jr). Had 15 points for the Fire in a win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409295' first='Ridwan' last='Ibrahim'] of Minneapolis South. Hit five threes and scored 16 points.

Best of the best from the West Metro Classic, we honor them today.
