5AAAA Buffalo at 3AAAA Maple Grove

Prediction: WRONG. Remember last spring/summer when Buffalo played AAU as a 16 and Under high school team and was beating good AAU teams? Think about how that experience has helped them be the team they are right now. And some of you will be like.... it might hurt their recruiting. NOPE. You think schools in the five state area are blind to what [player_tooltip player_id='2400077' first='Eli' last='Hegle'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2397563' first='Thomas' last='Jordan'] are doing right now? It's a special story. Jordan scored 29, Hegle had 26, [player_tooltip player_id='2126866' first='Matthew' last='Jordan'] had 14, [player_tooltip player_id='2620834' first='Henry' last='Bloomquist'] had nine, and Maple Grove just couldn't stop them. I said MG by seven, Buffalo won by eight. They are moving into the top 3-4 in state assuming they keep playing well and beat Minnetonka on Friday.

7AAAA Eden Prairie at 2AAAA Wayzata

Wayzata was up 54-36 at the half and never looked back. They held [player_tooltip player_id='2137323' first='Carter' last='Pulrang'], Carter Sprute and [player_tooltip player_id='2380768' first='Jamir' last='Davis'] to a combined nine points.

6AAAA Alexandria at Willmar

Prediction. ALMOST PERFECT. I said Alex by 22 points, they won 94-73. And they had to come back from down 11 to do it (according to the reporting of the great Kevin Alsteens aka The TC Hoops Czar)! A 35-7 run! A now healthy [player_tooltip player_id='2118495' first='Talan' last='Witt'] scored 24 points to lead the Cards.

Waseca at 8AAA St. Peter

Prediction. WRONG. How about this..... St. Peter beat Waseca by 30 last night, this time, the Jays win 79-77! Great turnaround. Another monster performance by [player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] who scored 42 points and should have the Mr. Basketball committee thinking........Top Ten! Hopefully they noticed. Wyatt Hager and Owen Honstad each had ten points. Back to Russell, scoring 42 points against a top ten team is another monster showing.

9AAAA Prior Lake at Rosemount

He scored four threes in the first half to build his team's lead. [player_tooltip player_id='2840972' first='Brayden' last='Guetter'] continues his strong play with 24 points nine boards, four assists, and four blocks. Guetter is a senior having an all state level senior season.

Minneapolis North at 10AA Holy Family

Prediction. Correct. We said Fire by ten, they won by 11 dropping North to 8-8 on the season while improving to 9-3. [player_tooltip player_id='1560786' first='Lexyn' last='Grof'] scored 31 points and outscored [player_tooltip player_id='2486899' first='J'Marion' last='Sanders'] who had 22.

Chaska at 9AAA Orono

Prediction. Correct. We said Chaska by eight, they won by 24! No results posted elsewhere.
