Middleton has shown real smoothness to his game early in the season. He's come off the bench and made an immediate impact, doing a good job running the second unit and keeping the point guard position steady once the starters get a break. He can quickly he can change the tempo of a game, whether that means pushing pace, getting into the paint, or creating early offense for his teammates. He plays with quickness and feel, and he's comfortable getting inside and making the right reads rather than forcing his own shot. Middleton has looked like a young guard who understands how to manage the game and keep things organized, which is a big reason his value may continue to rise.

Bryce has put together an impressive first half of the year and has been one of the most advanced underclass guards I've seen up close. He controls the floor naturally, keeps everyone in their role, and does a great job managing the pace without needing to dominate the ball. Bryce is a strategic scorer and playmaker, making the right reads consistently and understanding when it's time to create versus when it's time to settle the group down. What separates him is the two-way effort and how he plays hard defensively and knows how to guard on and off the ball. Offensively he gets wherever he wants, able to overpower defenders when needed or blow by them when the lane opens up. Also been lights-out from deep, and deadly with space. McQuarter's stock will be climbing because he already plays like a leader, and his control of tempo and decision-making has been rare for his age.

Cayden has embraced his role this season and has become one of those players that consistently makes winning plays without needing a ton of touches. He scores when the opportunity presents itself, doesn't press for shots, and understands how to let the game come to him. He's also brought value on the defensive end, competing and rebounding, while doing the little things that help his team stay solid. Cayden is a confident shooter who will knock down open looks when defenses are late, and his offensive game continues to grow as he improves his slashing ability. Through the midseason point, Morrison has shown he can impact the game in multiple ways, and that steady growth is what makes him a name to track moving forward.

Ezra has been one of the more underrated underclassmen in the area this season because of how efficient and complete his game has looked. He has a nice all around feel, defends hard on the other end, and compliments the starting guards well playing off the ball without needing to dominate the possession. Ezra can really shoot it, and he's a reliable catch and shoot option who makes defenses pay when they leave him space. What I've liked most is that he stays productive without needing too many touches, but he still has the ability to get into his mix and score in isolation when the offense stalls. Rich has quietly proven he's more than just a role piece, and his scoring ability is better than people realize, which is why his stock has been on the rise all season.

Cameron has been an interesting bright spot for Pallotti so far. He plays with a mature approach, making smart passes and good reads without forcing the game or trying to do too much. Cameron can score in bunches when he gets going, and he's shown he can attack off the dribble or knock shots down spotting up. He's a good consistent shooter already, and that skill paired with his athleticism gives him flexibility in how he's used within rotations. Smith's ability to play as a guard or slide into a forward role depending on matchups is a big plus, and is part of why he's become one of the more intriguing underclass prospects to keep track of this season.

Zaid has looked the part all season, and for a young player he already carries himself like somebody that's been in big games before. He's a smooth scorer who can catch and shoot around the floor, but he's also comfortable creating his own offense with touch and craft. Yusuf's handle stands out early when watching him because he's elusive and shifty with the ball, and he already has that “ball on a string” type of control that separates young guards from the pack. He gets to spots cleanly, finishes creatively around defenders, and doesn't speed up when the pressure ramps up. Zaid's stock continues to rise because the skill level is obvious, but the composure and confidence have been consistent all season.

Zach has had a strong season for a freshman. His ability to earn meaningful minutes on a talented WCAC team says a lot. He plays with toughness and physicality, battles for positioning inside, and rebounds efficiently even against older, stronger players. Zach also makes his presence felt by finishing well through contact and pressure inside the paint, not shying away from the moment or the traffic. He knocks down open looks from 3 when defenses leave him, which makes him even more valuable because he isn't just an energy piece. Zechariah has shown he can contribute in a real role, and that early impact is a big reason his stock and performance has been trending upward.
