Eight Prospects We Look Forward to Seeing Soon - Various Areas

At the core of our job is evaluating high school prospects and disseminating that information to college coaches at all levels. That requires a lot of in-depth research, film study, boots on the ground viewing, and a good deal of travel. In order to cover the entire state to the best of our ability we have to hit the road and get to games that aren't necessarily close to home. We will be making our way to The Region this week to see some of the prospects on our list up there and spend enough time in central Indiana that we will eventually check almost everyone off of our list there. Here are some of the guys from other, various areas who are on my short list to see soon.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    One of two unsigned senior big men for Ben Davis, Anga is also being highly sought after by area small college programs. The 6'7" center is very physical and brings some rebounding and defensive upside to the table. He is averaging 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Ben Davis is 10-3 on the season, flirting with the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10, and will be a team that we see very soon.     We attended a fall workout at Fort Wayne Snider High School in the fall, but we haven't yet seen the Panthers play this season. DeRossett is having an excellent sophomore year and we are looking forward to getting an updated evaluation on the talented 6'5" left-handed shooter. He is averaging 9.3 points per game while shooting 32-69 (46.4%) from three-point range. That catch-and-shoot ability is what makes him such an intriguing prospect.     Harvey is one of the best unsigned senior big men left on the board in Indiana and is being highly sought after by small college programs. The 6'8" center is bouncy at the rim and has some big games this season for 10-3 Ben Davis. Somehow we have not seen the Giants yet this season, but that will change soon. He averages 8.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.     Liberty Christian has moved themselves back up to #2 in the Class 1A Prep Hoops Top 10. They have won four straight and eight of their last nine games. Also, all four of their losses are against Class 4A programs. Martin, a 6'2" junior guard, averages a team-leading 17.0 points per game to go along with 4.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 steals. We will likely watch the Lions play on February 3rd against University.     Page continues to prove himself as one of the best shooters in Indiana's Class of 2027. He is 39-95 (41.1%) from three-point range and averaging a team-high 16.6 points per game for 10-2 Sheridan. We saw Page play in some showcase settings over the summer and came away impressed with the way he has grown into his body and adding a physical component to the skill he has always possessed.     Oak Hill is a perfect 12-0 on the season and have moved into the #1 spot in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10. Tonagel is tied with his brother for the scoring lead at 14.8 points per game while also averaging 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. His numbers, along with Oak Hill's success, has made him a legitimate Indiana Junior All-Star candidate. We definitely will be catching a game in Converse before the end of the year.     One of the most talented freshmen in the state of Indiana, Tonagel has stepped right into a major role for Class 2A #1 ranked Oak Hill. He is tied with his older brother for the scoring lead at 14.8 points per game while also averaging 3.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. Tonagel is 23-63 (36.5%) from three-point range. We look forward to seeing the Tonagel brothers and currently undefeated Oak Hill play at some point later this season.     West Lafayette has quietly built a 12-2 record with this 6'5" sophomore sharp-shooter helping to lead the way. His combination of size and shooting ability has already established him as one of the top prospects in Indiana's Class of 2028. We look forward to seeing Vogt, and the rest of is West Lafayette team, on Thursday, February 5th at Brownsburg.
