While you lock that in, we're shifting our focus to one of the strongest classes in the state — a group that's primed for major movement over the next few years. Hot starts have launched new names into the spotlight, while others are still building toward their breakthrough. This class is far from settled, and the board is already shifting. Here are some players who went from the watch list to the 2027 rankings.

He was on the watch list, but it was due to a misunderstanding on if he'd be returning. Well, not only did he return to Evergreen, but he has them in prime position to make a deep playoff push. Evergreen is 8-3 on the year, and he's led them in every single way. He's putting up 18.7 points and 9.9 rebounds a game. McCanna has finished with double figures in every game, he's shot 50% from deep, and the 6'8 big has been a matchup nightmare. He's been aggressive despite seeing double teams and walls, he's taking what the defense is giving him, but also pressing the issue. He makes a huge leap into the Top-30 with his play and he's a prospect that I feel more eyes would be on if we saw him more. Expecting a huge 2nd half of the season, and for him to continue wow'ing with his play. Huge upside here.

Maybe has been Northglenn's top prospect on the season. He turned heads as a sophomore, but his work as a junior has really been the difference to the team's success. He's consistent and balanced. He's shooting the 3-ball at a high clip and converting, he's dominating his matchup, and can score with the best of them. Mayle is putting up 15.9 points a game. He's a score-first combo guard that hunts his shot, and the team has followed his lead. He makes a jump in the rankings after spending time on the watch list and looks to rise with his play.

Wray has competed in essentially every game this season, and that is due to the steady play of their lead guard and leading scorer. Trejo has been their lead scorer and prospect with high usage. He makes the right decisions with the ball in his hands despite pressure from opposing teams. He's reading the court and making smart reads, he's getting to his spots and scores in bunches. He's averaging 15 points a game, but stuffing the stat sheets along with it. He's also averaging 4.4 assists a game, a solid rebounder at 4.1 boards, and has 3.1 steals with plenty of those turning into easy fast break opportunities. He's a prospect that makes a debut in the rankings this round with room to continue to rise.

Golden has been a force to be reckoned with to start the season and is a team looking like contenders. They appear to be a complete team, and their guard play has been what's separating them. 6'1 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2827054' first='Nick' last='Goodspeed'] has been one of their biggest difference-makers. He's up to 13.5 points and has erupted for some big games. He's helped push them out to an 8-2 record and looks very comfortable this season as a 3-level scorer. He finishes around the basket, spaces the floor as he has 22 3-pointers on the season, and has been a two-way force. He makes a jump from the watch list to the rankings and will look to rise. We like what we've seen from Goodspeed.

Palisade has been one of the top teams in the state as they're 11-0 on the year and is sitting at No.3 overall on our Team Rankings. They have a balanced attack, they play lockdown defense, and at any given time, a new prospect can step up and lead them. One of the prospects that has led them early on has been Gingerich. He's putting up 11.5 points with an inside attack, he gets to his spots and finishes. He is also a force on the boards that goes right up with the ball to not give the defense a chance. Gingerich spent time on the watch list but now makes his rankings debut with stellar play. We want to see how good this Palisade team really is as he makes them dynamic.
