has fully transformed his game over the span of one season, making a gargantuan jump from averaging less than 2 PPG in his sophomore year to 11 PPG, 4 RPG, and 2 APG in his junior campaign. In transition, Gingerich controls the tempo and creates opportunities for himself and his teammates. His unselfishness shines through, facilitating ball movement and ensuring the open shot is taken on each possession down the hardwood. Placing 47th in the 5A class in FG’s made (104), his shot selection has been on point and accurate from all three levels of the game. Gingerich is a forward I’m heavy on to succeed in the playoffs, with his Palisade Bulldogs earning a dominant 21-2 record in the regular season.

Gingerich has been the perfect complementary piece for Palisade, forming a strong duo alongside Howard. Averaging 11.1 points per game, he understands how to get to his spots and score within the flow of the offense. Palisade has been one of the top teams in the state as they’re 11-0 on the year and is sitting at No.3 overall on our Team Rankings. They have a balanced attack, they play lockdown defense, and at any given time, a new prospect can step up and lead them. One of the prospects that has led them early on has been Gingerich. He’s putting up 11.5 points with an inside attack, he gets to his spots and finishes. He is also a force on the boards that goes right up with the ball to not give the defense a chance. Gingerich spent time on the watch list but now makes his rankings debut with stellar play. We want to see how good this Palisade team really is as he makes them dynamic.
