Prep Hoops Live: 2028 Stock Rising Floor Generals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The annual Prep Hoops Live event took place this past weekend in the Chicagoland Area. Nearly 200 teams in 15U, 16U, and 17U divisions took to the floor to showcase their skills. I took in 20+ games from Batavia, IL on my own mostly seeing guys from the classes of 2028 and 2029. Puts pressure on the defense during primary break phases to create. Will fit into a point or combo role at the next level with speed and tenacity. Splashed home multiple catch and shoot threes during team's first game of the day on Friday and continued going to work off the bounce. Hit a couple tough floaters in the lane in traffic. Shared it well in transition with pitch ahead passes while continuing to speed game up. Has a tight handle and consistently got downhill quickly with quick first step burst. Had multiple drives that collapsed defense before setting teammates up at the rim or in transition. Efficient scorer going to the cup. Converted on a midrange jumper off the bounce and a couple floaters over more height. Offensive creator going off the bounce. Dribbled into a smooth mid range jay as well as a 3 after gathering an o board. Plus vertical at the rim on finishes and rebounds. Impacted defensively by gaining an edge on the ball leading to multiple steals and then buckets the other way to help lead the break. Knocked down a spot-up three while finishing multiple times in transition in team's game on Saturday. Crafty with the rock in his hands. Made a cool in and out move into a smooth finish over more size off the glass. Turns up the pressure defensively in the back court helping team gain momentum. Saw Harris play last AAU season and he continues to elevate game. Put on a bit more size in terms of strength to his frame. Shot it from 3 well while also getting into the gaps vs zone defense. A settled, disciplined, and hard nosed ball handler. Tallied a few assists spraying it from inside to out or dishing off down low once help came. Knocked down atleast three catch and shoot 3's with one being off of BLOB action. Turned defense into offense with several steals that led to transition buckets. Has active hands and quick lateral movement to stick on the ball. Has a passion to guard. Possesses good feel as a passer delivering dimes to a back door cutter and another to a slasher in the lane. Provides plus attributes in multiple phases with the rock in his hands. Scored it efficiently in transition with multiple breakaway finishes while also showing a smooth scoop conversion in traffic. Plays cohesively well with bigs on team. Had an impactful and1 towards end of game to help swing momentum.
