The Zero Gravity Prep Classic, one of the nation's best high school basketball events of the year, just wrapped up in Stoughton, MA, on Sunday, December 7th. Over 80 teams were in attendance from throughout the country (mostly the northeast), and I'll have coverage over the next couple weeks reviewing tons of players.

As always, it's incredibly difficult to watch every team and every game, so I watch as much as I can and have standouts from what I watch. I'm always happy to talk to coaches about guys that I may have overlooked, and I'll almost always try to write about new players who I've never scouted before.

Morrow is bafflingly intriguing as a long term prospect, but I don't hear enough people around the New England basketball scene talking about the 6-foot-7 forward. The St. Andrew's sophomore has excellent size and athleticism for his age, but he also has solid touch around the rim and showed some flashes of really nice moves in the paint. He has a good motor, he competes on both ends, and he clearly wants to rebound and do all the little things. Morrow is a high-potential guy to watch moving forward, but he should still play a meaningful role on a good St. Andrew's team this season.

I continue to be wow'd by Johnson every time I watch him play. Despite the level of talent at Winchendon this season, it's just too hard to keep the 5-foot-10 guard off the floor for too long because he brings so much on both ends. Offensively, he's absurdly confident and handles the rock supremely well, so he can run your offense quite seamlessly by getting people involved but also finding spots to attack. Defensively, he's lightning quick and is super pesky, so he's frustrating to go against for bigger guards. Johnson's size will probably limit his recruitment, but coaches should be keeping tabs on him.

Diaz isn't necessarily a top name to know on a Concord Academy squad that has multiple other stars. But the senior guard had quite the weekend and showcased that he should be on the radar of D3 coaches. The 5-foot-11 shooter does a really good job coming off screens and getting his feet set for perimeter looks, but he also effectively attacks closeouts and can get into the lane for floaters, jumpers, and finishes at the rim when he needs to. I also like the way he passes the ball and plays at his own pace. Diaz raised his stock this weekend.

Olasode is part of a crowded Brooks School big man rotation, but he probably sits at the top of it after a solid weekend at the Prep Classic. The 6-foot-8 forward is big and powerful and does a good job using his physicality to make his presence felt on the court, but he also showed some flashes of nice post moves that he didn't have when I saw him during fall open gyms. Olasode runs the floor for the entire game and does a good job defending guards and wings on the perimeter when he's switched out onto them, too. I could see him being a key player for Brooks this season.

I've always liked Nunes' game, and it was nice to see him come into his own a bit for Austin Prep during the Prep Classic. The 6-foot-1 guard appears bigger than that because of his length and strength, and he's able to guard ball handlers and wings as a result. Offensively, he has really nice athleticism at the cup and can finish with contact, but I was most impressed with the development of his three point shot, which looks compact and accurate. Nunes is only a sophomore and should continue to grow a lot with the reps he'll get for Austin Prep this season.

I had never heard of Douglas before the Prep Classic, but he had some nice performances that put him on my radar. The 6-foot-4 guard/wing won't wow you with insane athleticism or hops, but he has great strength and balance in the paint and uses his physicality to bump off defenders for easy finishes and mid rangers. He uses slow steps and spin moves quite effectively in the lane and can guard tons of different players as a result of his size and body. Definite D3 prospect.

Ahmed is another intriguing prospect from St. Thomas More's second team who probably isn't getting the recognition he deserves because he isn't on the top team. The 6-foot-5 wing moves very well for his size and has some step through and euro-step moves in the paint that most guys his size can't do. He can play with or without the ball because of his ability to handle the rock and also cut without it, and he can defend multiple positions because of his length and athleticism.
