The Zero Gravity Prep Classic, one of the nation's best high school basketball events of the year, just wrapped up in Stoughton, MA, on Sunday, December 7th. Over 80 teams were in attendance from throughout the country (mostly the northeast), and I'll have coverage over the next couple weeks reviewing tons of players.

As always, it's incredibly difficult to watch every team and every game, so I watch as much as I can and have standouts from what I watch. I'm always happy to talk to coaches about guys that I may have overlooked.

Baum might be Nobles' most important player because of his versatility on both ends. Offensively, he can act as a hub and is a great player with and without the ball; he's an amazing backdoor passer and found tons of teammates for looks against Brunswick, but he can also pull the Draymond Green and continue on to the rim for finishes. Defensively, his size and length allows him to guard multiple positions effectively. He'll kill it at Bowdoin next year.

Lum is an exciting guard who has a great combination of athleticism and skill. The 6-foot-2 senior can handle it and shoot it well, and he has nice quickness and explosiveness once he drives past players to the rim. He was one of Brunswick's only consistent paint drivers against Nobles, but he never got tired and relentlessly attacked the rim. D1 player who probably has more point guard skills to unlock.

Spinoso continues to be one of my favorite players to watch in the region. The 6-foot-5 wing can play the forward position because of his incredible strength and IQ, and I love everything he brings offensively. He won't wow you with athleticism, but he's a phenomenal passer with unselfishness up the wazoo—he's always finding teammates for wide open shots. His three pointer looks improved, too, and he should have a great career at Trinity starting next year.

Scroggins is a big lefty who brings athleticism and scoring punch to Kimball Union's offensive arsenal. The 6-foot-7 forward loves to face up in the post and has some really nice footwork and craft when it comes to maneuvering inside the paint. Though he's a way better finisher with his southpaw, he makes it work and has solid touch in the lane. He's also an excellent passer when the double team comes. Scroggins is committed to Valpo for next year and still has room for improvement on the perimeter as a shooter.

Blue might've been the most electric player of Saturday morning's slate. The 6-foot guard has insane explosiveness off the dribble and consistently got into the paint for finishes and dunks. But the junior guard also scored from the mid range and three, showcasing a well-rounded offensive bag. He plays great defense, he has incredible conditioning ability, and he can light it up from all three levels. What more could you want?

Frink looked like Proctor Academy's best player against St. Sebastians, and though they took the loss, the 6-foot-5 forward showed off a really impressive ability to attack and finish in the paint. The senior wing is an amazing athlete who keeps his line quite well on drives, and he's able to finish with contact when the trees come over. He'll play college lacrosse next year but definitely could've played D3 hoops if he wanted.

Clanton was dominant in Phillips Andover's win against NMH on Saturday morning. The 6-foot-6 post grad has incredible strength and athleticism, so when he gets a rebound on the defensive end, he's almost always off to the races. He shucks people off like they're JV players, and then he can elevate above the rim for finishes. Clanton is out of control at times, but D3 programs should be incredibly intrigued by his potential.
