I'm not sure any OHSAA underclassmen is off to a hotter start to the season than Jones. He exploded for over 30 points in an overtime win over Pickerington North and a tight loss to Big Walnut. Jones has improved as a 3-point shooter and has always been a prolific scorer at the rim and in the mid-range. Jones is one of three players to announce recent commitments to [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red']'s 16 U team, that projects to be much improved from their 15 U group last year.

One of the most athletic players in the 2028 class, Vaughn Jr has hit the ground running at the varsity level this season. Able to make an impact in transition as an above the rim finisher while also being a switchable defender in the half-court. The amount of strong athletes Saint Ignatius can throw at you makes them an extremely tough team to overpower despite playing multiple underclassmen heavy minutes. The next step for Vaughn will be consistently making shots and setting teammates up in the half-court and he has plenty of time to polish those skills.

The top performer from the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID camp, Roddy came out with a point to prove that day and was showing off his impressive scoring ability in a camp setting. Reynoldsburg has a very talented team and despite a season opening loss to Lutheran East, the Raiders have plenty of important games coming up on their schedule to grab the attention of central Ohio and beyond.

Another prospect who waited his turn at the JV level at one of the powerhouse programs in Ohio, Donald is the second prospect in this article to hit the ground running to start his varsity career. Being given the keys to the offense, Donald is currently leading the GCL-South in assists per game at over four per contest. After turning the ball over five times in their season opening game, Donald only has one in each of his last two varsity games showing that the game is slowing down a little for him. I expect Donald and the rest of this Moeller team to improve as the season goes on and that's a scary thought for teams that will have to face them in February and March.

A prospect who has been an instant starter at the varsity level, Bowman is the primary creator for the Thunderhawks after the graduation of Trey Perry. Bowman has wasted no time making a big impact by scoring over 17 points per game and dropping over three assists per game through the first four games of the season, helping Lakota East to a 3-1 record. Expect them to be a tough out in the GMC this winter.
