Eggemeyer steps into a loaded Rock Canyon program where patience and growth will be key in his development, but the tools are obvious and undeniable. He rebounds, slashes, finds gaps in the defense, and plays with a high IQ that pop despite being a younger player. He's also a legitimate floor spacer with a clean shot that it looks like its going in when he takes it. As the season progresses, expect his role to grow. I like what they have over there at Rock Canyon and Eggemeyer makes it even easier to believe in it.

Jensen brings excellent size and continues to trend upward within a deep Chaparral rotation. His development off the bench will help him prep for a solid career and this is the year it pops for him. He rebounds, spaces the floor from three, and shows touch in the mid-range with floaters inside. With how loaded the roster is, he'll pick his spots early, but when it clicks, he becomes a real mismatch. We dropped the ball at the last rankings drop but won't this go-round. His physical tools and skill set make him a long-term weapon to watch and one of the valuable underclassmen.

Hasselbach may begin the year on JV, but don't let that fool you, the stock is worth buying early. He plays older than a freshman, attacks the glass, finishes with touch. He also is a player who impacts the game defensively with active hands and presents as a versatile defender. His motor never dips and I am excited to see how it translates to varsity as he dominated his age group. As his scoring range expands to the mid-range and 3-point shooting, his two-way value will rise quickly across the conference as well. Check in on him at the end of the year and I bet he makes a jump based on what we've seen from him.

Denham made his mark in small moments this summer by doing the dirty work that others simply don't. He sets hard screens, rolls with purpose, rebounds relentlessly, and finishes or opens the offense with his movement. He even mixed in mid-range touch that allows the court to be wide open. With his size, toughness, and a nonstop motor, he's an underclassman who can shape games without needing plays called for him and should get him opportunities.

Baker has size and is using his length to be disruptive defensively. To be able to affect the game he will have to be a force on that side of the ball and from what we saw from him this summer, he appears to be ready to make his stamp on Regis this year. To be one of the young guys getting a chance in his sophomore season, shows the potential and the work ethic. We saw him own the glass, run the floor and protect the paint and now he gets to do those things this upcoming year when called upon. We expect him to get opportunity to be a difference-maker and a spark plug for a veteran led squad and he's a underclassmen to know that will jump on the radar this season.

LeGrand will have to sit with the transfer rule in play, but the future is very bright for him. He's one of the most balanced underclassmen in the league and fills every column of the boxscore. He lets the game come to him, scores in transition, and takes exactly what the defense gives. Even on JV, he's one of the top young names to track closely in what I believe will be the best JV team on the state.
