He's also a legitimate floor spacer with a clean shot that it looks like its going in when he takes it. As the season progresses, expect his role to grow. His development off the bench will help him prep for a solid career and this is the year it pops for him. With how loaded the roster is, he'll pick his spots early, but when it clicks, he becomes a real mismatch. We dropped the ball at the last rankings drop but won't this go-round. He plays older than a freshman, attacks the glass, finishes with touch. He also is a player who impacts the game defensively with active hands and presents as a versatile defender. His motor never dips and I am excited to see how it translates to varsity as he dominated his age group. As his scoring range expands to the mid-range and 3-point shooting, his two-way value will rise quickly across the conference as well. He sets hard screens, rolls with purpose, rebounds relentlessly, and finishes or opens the offense with his movement. He even mixed in mid-range touch that allows the court to be wide open. To be able to affect the game he will have to be a force on that side of the ball and from what we saw from him this summer, he appears to be ready to make his stamp on Regis this year. To be one of the young guys getting a chance in his sophomore season, shows the potential and the work ethic. We saw him own the glass, run the floor and protect the paint and now he gets to do those things this upcoming year when called upon.
