Eggemeyer showed this summer that there is much more to his game than simply being a big who can battle inside. He can establish himself down low, secure rebounds and handle the physical responsibilities of a true post player, but we also saw him create in ways that make his game even more intriguing. He handled the ball, pushed the pace, ran the floor and created scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. That versatility makes his ranking rise feel well deserved. With Rock Canyon deploying plenty of size throughout the season, Eggemeyer could be instrumental in their success and has a chance to make a major impact

Eggemeyer was another player who showed at The Expo that his physical presence can have a real impact on both ends of the floor. His size and strength stood out around the basket, where he worked hard on the glass, altered shots at the rim and consistently cleaned up opportunities inside. He gave his team extra possessions with his rebounding and did a good job taking advantage of chances close to the basket. He also showed some range offensively, giving us another piece of his game to watch. There is a solid foundation here and Eggemeyer has an opportunity to make his presence felt in a big way this season

The junior forward played some solid minutes for the 4-0 Jags. Worked hard on the glass, showcased some quick footwork around the paint to get depth and finish inside, and came up with a couple solid blocks at the rim. Moves pretty well as a post who can defend across the paint, chase down rebounds, and has some potential to expand his offensive game with his touch and quick feet.

Eggemeyer steps into a loaded Rock Canyon program where patience and growth will be key in his development, but the tools are obvious and undeniable. He rebounds, slashes, finds gaps in the defense, and plays with a high IQ that pop despite being a younger player. He’s also a legitimate floor spacer with a clean shot that it looks like its going in when he takes it. As the season progresses, expect his role to grow. I like what they have over there at Rock Canyon and Eggemeyer makes it even easier to believe in it. 

Eggmeyer first caught our eye at Colorado Live and kept showing up everywhere after. At 6’4, he’s a skilled, versatile wing who consistently performs in any environment, but what stands out about him is that he plays the right way. He rebounds, starts the break, and scores from multiple levels while defending with effort. His steady approach and ability to affect the game in ways that are not just scoring has him as a player to watch moving forward. After time on the watch list, Eggmeyer earns his place among the class’s top risers and with a solid start to the season can rise even more.

His work on the boards stood out, using both timing and strength to secure rebounds on both ends of the floor. Just as impressive was his footwork as he consistently established and maintained position, creating high percentage opportunities while also sealing off defenders to open lanes for teammates. Eggemeyer’s blend of technique, awareness and touch made him a steady interior presence who impacted the game in multiple ways without forcing the action

Eggemeyer brings a complete inside game, combining rebounding, boxing out, and post scoring with the ability to run the floor in transition. He’s also shown awareness on both ends of the floor with his effort level and that he can impact the game over extended stretches. We’ll be watching how he puts it all together by using his size, positioning, and instincts to dominate the boards and finish through contact in the post. A strong showing will catapult him as a versatile interior presence capable of controlling the paint and contributing in multiple phases of the game

Eggemeyer thrives when he’s in rhythm and heats up fast on the offensive end of the floor. At 6’5, Eggemeyer capitalizes on opportunities given to him when allowed an inch of space. This month, Eggemeyer has been a driving force for Collective, making plays and enforcing momentum.

Eggemeyer was a force in the paint, using his size and strength to dominate around the rim. He scored efficiently down low, showing a mix of power finishes and flashy moves that kept defenders on their heels. His ability to throw down a dunk energized his team and the crowd, adding a highlight reel element to his game. On the defensive end, Eggemeyer positioned himself well, making smart reads and protecting the paint. He also hit the glass hard, pulling down key rebounds and helping his team control the boards throughout the weekend
