[player_tooltip player_id='2352576' first='Moussa' last='Dukuly'] of Champlin Park (soph). You can't start the conversation about Moussa without talking about the slam he had. It was a full speed And1 flush over the top of a Spartan and you had to wonder if Dukuly was going to keep going and crash into the backboard. The speed, lift and heavy delivery was that impressive. This is a physically gifted athlete that has a scholarship future. Despite the big loss to Richfield, Dukuly scored 16 points making half of his ten field goal attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2557528' first='Ichima' last='Idoko'] of DeLaSalle (soph). An exuberant, long, and agile player at 6'7/6'8, Ichima led the Islanders in scoring with 15 against the physical Crimson. Made all his foul shots (5), a couple triples, had one dunk and all around played with confidence showing off his big potential. Needs to do a lot of the maturity things (get stronger with age, get more varsity experience, etc) but the ceiling is quite high.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560534' first='Tre' last='Moore'] of Hopkins (soph). Lost in the excitement of the crowd (first good, then bad) as well as the impact that Wilson was having on the game, was that [player_tooltip player_id='2560534' first='Tre' last='Moore'] was having a nice game himself. The quarterback of the team had 15 points and six boards on five of ten shooting before the game was called.

[player_tooltip player_id='2428302' first='Max' last='Munsell'] of Breck (soph). With Mu out with the injury Max had to step right into the role of playmaker and at first it was tough but Max seemed to get more comfortable as the game moved on. Max was facing some older players that were physical with him but eventually his skill and speed found space to give his team 14 points and a couple assists. Hit a few threes late in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2698860' first='Peter' last='Kiedrowski'] of Breck (fr). Peter started the game for the Mustangs and knocked out three pointers and scored a dozen points. Good sized freshman with some good strength and stands 6'4. A player that really has the look of a solid player and prospect going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560499' first='Kevin' last='Wilson Jr.'] of Tartan (soph). Before the game Hopkins vs Tartan game was called off by the police, KJ Wilson showed once again why he has long been considered the best player in the sophomore class. He took over the contest in the second half building the Titans lead to double figures before it was called. That left hand attack into the pull-up is so deadly as is the Wilson jumper and the crafty attacks at the rim. The prospect part of the conversation…. Schools will be scared of the size, that is the facts of the modern basketball world. BUT, Wilson's difference with that size (height and weight) is his shooting touch. A lot of the smaller players that have had to go to low major (or lower levels) that are really good players do not shoot and score like Wilson. Before the game was called at 60-50 with nine minutes to go, Wilson had 23 points, six rebounds and three assists on 7 of 17 shooting with three triples and six of nine foul shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace (soph). Having seen Zoa twice this week I have really been impressed by how well he's defending both in effort and lateral agility moving with agile players on the perimeter. Zoa scored three times as well in the Eagle (TG) win over the Eagles (AV).

More underclassmen

[player_tooltip player_id='2455802' first='Cobe' last='Blades'] of Breck (fr). Blades hit a three and grabbed four rebounds plus had an assist.

Greg Carter of Hopkins (soph). Loved the effort Carter played with. Came off the bench to defend and score three times before the game was called. Good player making this team deeper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417236' first='Gavin' last='Doherty'] of Orono (soph). Gavin scored six points and grabbed eight boards from his guard position. Only Spartan underclassmen.

Tchidi Ejimadu of Park Center (fr). One of the better frosh in the state, Tchidi scored seven points with four boards and two assists to beat Como Park.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848504' first='Liam' last='Jensen'] of Park Center (fr). Hard working freshman big battled for three boards, missed all shot attempts.

Miles Akinwande of Park Center (soph). A four point, five board, three assist game playing a good amount of minutes for the Pirates.

Gio Horton of Apple Valley (fr). Young quick guard scored six points with a couple boards and a couple assists.

Paris Kyles of Park Center (8th). Rough shooting game missing on eight of nine attempts but was on the floor a lot for the Pirates.

Lamar Knighten of Minneapolis Washburn (9th). Nice attacking young player that we have seen twice in the last 18 hours. Scored in each game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2955364' first='Ian' last='Nelson'] of Richfield (soph). Nelson hit a three for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] coming off the bench hin half two.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560458' first='Emmanuel' last='Oyesanmi'] of Tartan (soph). The Tartan scorer was aggressive against Hopkins scoring nine points and grabbing six rebounds (3 of 8 shooting) before the game was called.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569280' first='Yahya' last='Soumahoro'] of Park Center (soph). An eight point, five rebound game scoring on three of four field goals and two of three fouls shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2559428' first='Taaj' last='Whitlock'] of DeLaSalle (soph). Whitlock scored twice, had an assist and played a good amount in the second half.

Landon Williams-Newi (8th) of Como Park. Landon had four points, an assist and a board in the loss to Park Center
