[player_tooltip player_id='2879718' first='Omar' last='Ali'] of DeLaSalle (6'8). Junior post player came off the Islander bench and fought the Crimson bigs inside. Hit two threes and scored around the rim plus grabbed a handful of boards. Strong frame, battled in the post and fought his way through the screens better than expected. Good impression.

Fynn Dyvik of Orono (6'4). When Breck started their comeback in the second half, it was Fynn that stepped up and made sure that every Breck piece of momentum, was countered. It was a three, it was a second chance score, an assist and then a heavy push to the rim to score. Fynn had a 17 point, 10 rebounds double-double and the junior looks to be a key piece of this very new Orono team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121341' first='Gavin' last='Elmquist'] of Maple Grove (sr). The Crimson bombarded DeLaSalle with their veteran toughness as defenders cutting off angles and Elmquist was one of those laterally strong and physically strong players that led defensively. He also knocked out five threes including a run of three in a row in the first half which drove the De coaches mad as they just weren't locating the senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2493846' first='Luke' last='Hill'] of Waconia (6'5). You will recognize Hill because he has maybe the strongest arms in all of Minnesota high school basketball, and he uses that strength well to fight in the post. I was just really surprised by Hill's shooting touch. It;s not just that he made a three, a couple mid-range shots and some scores inside, it was his form. Hill has some of the best shooting form you will see with a pretty release, and it comes in one of the stronger frames in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560817' first='Adin' last='Inda'] of Richfield (sr). Inda had three triples in the net before the opposing Rebels had three points on the board. His corner shooting got the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] started as he continues to be that deadly shooting weapon in the background from all the noteworthy standouts on his team. Scored 13 points for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2418241' first='Joseph' last='Jacobs'] of Park Center (jr). The 6'1 guard opened the game with Como Park knocking down two quick threes and then cruising his way to makes on his first ten field goal attempts! Rim finishes, pull-ups and feet set threes were the overall formula and it led to the Pirate junior producing 32 points for the game on 13 of 20 shooting. A calm demeanor and a confident approach led his team to the win, and a career game.

Alex Pilakowski of Orono (jr). A shooter. A shooter that helped changed the game with his five threes leading to 15 points. Fellow junior [player_tooltip player_id='2424180' first='Grant' last='Hansen'] was hurt in the first half so Alex stepped right in with hands up, feet set, and ready to shoot. He grabbed four boards too and defended solid but he was on the floor to knock out shots and that is what Alex did.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869262' first='Michael' last='Stevens'] of Minneapolis Washburn (sr). Michael had one of those games where every time somebody made a play, chances are it was Stevens chasing down the loose ball. Chances are it was Michael that beat people up the floor to score. It was likely Michael who turned the corner and extended to finish. All in all, Stevens scored 24 points simply out-working his man at every angle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119654' first='Quan' last='Stewart'] of Tartan (sr). Stewart is a player that really made us take notice last night. I LOVE the way he locks in and competes. This is a sit down and fight type of guy defensively. The type of guy that would rather you pull his heart out before he gives you the angle to beat him on defense. And he also hit two threes and scored eight points for the game was called.

Jonas Tetevi of St. Paul Como Park (sr). The 210 pound football recruit helped his basketball team with a double-double at the Big Stage. He was consistent on the glass grabbing ten boards and Jonas built to 15 points with three field goals early, and three field goals late. Hard working player.
