Middle Schoolers Playing JV/Varsity in Minnesota

<p>The Minnesota High School season is underway now for about a week and we take a quick look around the rosters and see which middle schoolers have made the jump into the Varsity basketball programs. Below are a few of the 2030, and one 2031 players we've seen.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2419994' first='Carter' last='Cupito'] - Cupito is a 2030 guard who's also the starting QB for the football team. He's at Minnehaha Academy starting guard and scored 10 points Tuesday night versus Orono.</p>

<p>Dupree Smith - Smith is a 2031 guard who is playing at Minneapolis Camden. Smith got some varsity minutes in the 1st half versus South St. Paul even making his first Varsity 3-pointer.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2874774' first='Xander' last='Bain'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2856741' first='Jerrell' last='Washington'] Jr. are 2030 guard playing at Bloomington Kennedy. The [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 3SSB guards have played in Kennedy's first 2 games. Bain has scored 5.5 points, has 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Washington scored 8 points in his game and grabbed 5 rebounds last week.</p>
