Dupree Smith is a five-foot-eight-inch 2031 guard that played JV at Minneapolis Camden during last year’s high school season and is a talented scorer, particularly with the ball in his hands. Smith doesn’t need much space or time to get his shot off and he can really fill up the scoring in a game very quickly hitting multiple triples. Smith’s quickness, handle, and court vision keep defenses honest and Smith seems to play with good pace.

A polished ball handler with a strong feel for creating advantages off the bounce and a defensive approach that stands out. He consistently turned the corner, attacked gaps, and put pressure on the rim by getting deep into the paint with purpose. His handle is compact and controlled, while his flashes as a combo guard show his ability to create beyond a traditional lead guard role. He competed with discipline defensively and played with a steady motor throughout the weekend.
