Moss was absolutely killing on Saturday with a dominant offensive display. Moss was making tough shots off the dribble with ease and I loved the balance and rhythm he was playing with as a creator. Almost like a dancer with how his feet work in rhythm with his dribble moves, Moss stays on balance when attacking off the dribble. I also was impressed with how quickly Moss beat the double team with passes and was able to get the ball back to create under a 30 second shot clock. Moss has continued to improve his game each time I watch him play and the growth he's shown over the past 18 months is remarkable, a Mr Basketball candidate in Kentucky.

One of my favorite players to discover this weekend, Petty stood out in a big way on Saturday evening with an impressive display of drives early in the game. With his quick first step and decisive attacking style, Petty was getting to the rim at will early in the game and finishing easily at the rim. In the second half, his 3-point shooting ability was put on display as he knocked down a couple jumpers from the corner. Looking like a surefire Division I target from the wing guard position, Petty should be on low to mid major radars across the southeast as he's been stringing together multiple impressive performances this winter.

An Eastern Washington commit, Richmond caught fire in the first half with some deep 3-pointers off the bounce. Richmond is a natural scoring talent as he was creating offense for himself in the half-court efficiently. I was also impressed with how well Edge School moved the basketball and Richmond was also shot ready off the catch. Based on Richmond's performance this weekend due to his strength, perimeter shooting, ball handling and burst, he has the offensive talent to be a plug and play guard for Eastern Washington next season.

Just a different level athlete than the prospects he shares the court with, Bouie flies in transition and gets a handful of run out dunks a game it seems every time I watch him play. In transition Bouie also covers so much ground which allows him to coast by defenders on euro-step moves in transition. Also throwing down the dunk of the year that I've seen so far this 2025-26 season, Bouie got a head of steam and dunked all over a St Xavier defender at the rim. Improving as a spot-up shooter as well, Bouie knocked down a handful of jumpers from beyond the arc this weekend. The fit with Bouie in the SEC is perfect and as one of the younger players in the 2026 class, he should continue to improve quickly when he arrives in Tuscaloosa.

A poised floor general who has set the table for the Spire National team all season, Davis just gets stuff done on both ends of the court. Playing with the burst and on ball juice to get where he needs to off the dribble, Davis is tough to contain at the point of attack. An impressive live dribble passer, Davis keeps his head up on drives and can skip the ball to any corner of the court. I also love the defensive ball pressure Davis provides as his winning qualities extend to both ends of the court. No surprise Davis is a nationally ranked prospect who is given such a large responsibility for one of the top teams in the country.

Louisville St Xavier hung around for a while on Saturday before Spire's length and athleticism became too much for the Tigers to handle. Jackson was a key reason why the game was so competitive as he was confident making shots on the perimeter and also making numerous impressive skip passes across the court. Jackson can handle the ball and make decisions in the half court as either a pick and roll ball handler or a closeout attacker. Jackson also had a couple lefty finishes at the rim that showed his ability to attack with either hand. Looking like one of the top seniors in Kentucky, Jackson is helping lead a Louisville St Xavier squad that is the early number one team in the state.

The final game of the evening was very exciting as both teams traded buckets throughout the game for a contest that went down to the final buzzer. Williams stood out as a lead guard who played with excellent pace and created offense for himself and his teammates. I was impressed by the soft touch Williams had on mid-range, layups and floaters. In crunch time, Williams delivered again and again for his team, helping secure a crucial league victory over a short-handed Iowa United squad.
