The Chicago Elite Classic is one of the premier annual must attend scouting events in the state of Illinois. PHI was in the house for every game on Friday and Saturday. Here is a look at the X-Factor Players at Chicago Elite Classic!

[player_tooltip player_id='2399236' first='Xavier' last='Porter'] (Perspectives – 2026)

Porter is a plus shooter which he showed off for Perspectives banging in three big ones in their win against Crane along with being an effective defender. Went for 13 points (5-10 FG) (3-4 3PT) and 7 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2394678' first='Max' last='Vogel'] (New Trier – 2026)

Vogel is a forward that kind of brings everything together as a role player for the Trevians. He had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in their win.

Camarion Weathers (Hyde Park – 2027)

Weathers popped for us with his size at 6'4” who proved to be a good passer and scorer in the paint recording 5 points and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2439327' first='Jalil' last='Amous'] (Lincoln Park – 2026)

Amous is a PHI favorite as he is a big bodied post, but has some guard type skills with his handles and touch scoring off the bounce. Went for 9 points (4-10 FG) and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2540205' first='John' last='Brown IV'] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2028)

Brown is the ultimate x-factor for HF this season. He is a legit prospect as a long and rangy power forward that has stretch potential. Knocked in a three on the college court scoring 5 points and grabbing 3 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552408' first='TJ' last='Williams'] (Bolingbrook – 2026)

Williams is proving he is going to be the #2 option for a Bolingbrook team that has big expectations. Been solid early in the season as a slithery guard that gets to the cup and can knock in a spot up three as he had 11 points (5-11 FG), 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874852' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] (Kankakee – 2026)

With Jackson out Thompson had to both score and dish as the third option behind their Big 2. Lefty point guard is a very good leader that makes good decisions as a passer as he had 7 points and 6 assists.

Mike Oliver (Curie – 2026)

Oliver did a nice job as a set up man as his teammate was cooking scoring it. He knocked in a pair of threes along with making regular trips to the foul line as he had 11 points and 4 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2469077' first='Tayte' last='Cordova'] (Warren – 2027)

Cordova is a scrappy wing that got loose a couple times in transition including off his defense. Mixed in some floaters as well for 6 points (3-11 FG) and 3 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532341' first='Keyae' last='Lacy'] (Simeon – 2027)

Lacy was a nice bench pick up for the [program_tooltip program_id='2076046' first='Wolverines' last=''] in the transfer portal. He can be a spark for them with his shooting and athleticism. He had 5 points (2-5 FG), 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 16 minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2877301' first='Jamal' last='Dixon'] (Simeon – 2027)

Dixon impressed us over the summer and should be a key player with Simeon as a lengthy combo forward with a quick second jump as he had 6 points (2-6 FG) and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2455378' first='Ed' last='Williams'] (Whitney Young – 2027)

Williams is the ultimate glue guy for the Dolphins with his toughness and defense. Bowling ball with the rock in his hands getting to the rack on straight line takes along with getting fouled as he had 9 points (3-5 FG) (3-4 FT).

[player_tooltip player_id='2531962' first='Amir' last='Tucker'] (St. Ignatius – 2028)

Tucker has been excellent early in the season for Iggy. The highly ranked sophomore point guard didn't shoot it great, but was slick with his ball handling attacking the defense for soft touch finishes and passed well on the move for 9 points and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323300' first='TJ' last='Tate'] (Marist – 2026)

In a game where Marist really struggled as a team this small and scrappy guard led the way. He had 10 points (4-8 FG) and 5 rebounds.
