PHI was in the house for every game on Friday and Saturday. Here is a look at the New Names that Emerged at CEC!

[player_tooltip player_id='2962322' first='Jarrett' last='Swift'] (Crane – 2027)

Swift is a name that we knew, but this was his coming out party for sure. The 5'11” point guard drained a couple threes and showed toughness throughout the contest scoring 12 points (5-14 FG).

Cameron Woods (OPRF – 2026)

Thick bodied guard is a senior that was in attack mode in their rivalry win getting downhill for scores on scoop shots, reverse layups, and a transition dunk. Good rebounder for guard that needs to cut down on the turnovers. He had 12 points (4-7 FG), 8 rebounds, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381426' first='Trent' last='Williams'] (OPRF – 2028)

Williams is the younger brother of former Fenwick/Whitney Young star DJ Steward. He came off the bench as a 5'11” point guard with a long and rangy frame. Good defensive instincts with plus athleticism. He had 2 points and 4 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962331' first='Lonnie' last='Mosley'] (Hyde Park – 2026)

Mosley didn't shoot it great, but what he did do was be in attack mode getting to the foul line where he was 9-10 from the line. He scored 13 points and dished out 3 assists.

Malakhi Callahan (Julian – 2026)

Callahan is a legit three level scorer that got to the cup for euro steps and sweeping finishes, pulled up in the mid-range, and knocked in a pair of threes. Also wrecked havoc on the defensive end with his activity and intensity. He had 14 points (5-14 FG) and 6 steals.

Torrance Smith (Julian – 2028)

Smith is more projection than player right now, but he totally looks the part at 6'8” with a great frame and long arms. He didn't take a shot and recorded 4 rebounds in 11 minutes of play. Sophomore to track long term.

[player_tooltip player_id='2814861' first='Corey' last='Wellere Jr'] (King – 2027)

Wellere Jr is the go to perimeter option for King. Southpaw has a nice looking shot that just didn't fall against Julian as he was 1-8. Showed some toughness on a put back and tough take while scoring 9 points.

Cornellius Moore (King – 2027)

Moore is a massive 6'7” center that has a wide body. He rebound well in his area particularly on the offensive glass as he had 9 points (4-5 FG) and 6 rebounds.

Cedric Terrell (Kankakee – 2026)

Terrell stepped up for the Kays in this game as notched 16 points (6-10 FG) while shooting very well from beyond the arc at a 3-3 clip. Made some good decisions with the ball as a passer as well and was solid defensively against Pace. He went for 16 points (6-10 FG), 4 assists, and 2 steals.

Saquan Commings (Curie – 2026)

Commings made an impression on us with what he brought to Curie. The first thing that caught our attention was his pressure and intensity on the defensive side of the ball. On the offensive end he was also bringing it with his attacking style getting in the paint for soft touch finishes as he had 17 points (6-9 FG).

[player_tooltip player_id='2532344' first='London' last='Rome'] (Whitney Young – 2027)

Rome got the start for the Dolphins. The 6'1” long armed 2027 guard hit a turnaround jumper, made some connective passes, and flashed defensively. He had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Anton Lee-Klein (Whitney Young – 2027)

Lee-Klein is a 6'6” four man that also started for Whitney Young. The frame and length stands out. Only recorded 1 rebound in 7 minutes of play. One to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='3187105' first='Kavon' last='Ammons'] (Rich Township – 2026)

Ammons is off to a good start this year for Rich. Solid shooter that can also get to the line. Seems comfortable in his role as the go to player early on for the Raptors as he finished with 16 points (5-11 FG) and 3 rebounds.
