A young player on the rise in the 2028 class, Rosplochowski had 15 points and halftime and 20 in the game as Appleton North defeated Oregon, 65-48. The strong sophomore combination guard moved very well without the ball, cut hard to the basket, and finished through contact. He also swished all seven of his free-throw attempts. On a balanced team that features several players who will compete at the next level, Rosplochowski has very good instincts on defense and came away with four steals int he win over Oregon.

A four-year varsity performer with excellent ball handling and shooting skills, Sweeney went for 17 for Appleton North in its win over Oregon. He also had three s teals and missed just two shots from the field. Sweeney drilled all three of his shots from outside the three-point arc. Sweeney and classmates [player_tooltip player_id='1561874' first='Nathan' last='Ramus'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1561908' first='Grant' last='Hardy'] give Appleton North tremendous experience and a strong desire to get the win each time they step onto the court. Sweeney's mental and physical toughness are big assets for the Lightning.

Strong and aggressive, Hoffer drove the ball with authority for much of the game and helped Oregon stick around with Appleton North until the final eight minutes of the game. He finished with a team-best 14 points while also contributing four rebounds, two assists and a steal. He buried a couple of three-point baskets and competed with an edge as the Panthers played without key senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2970569' first='Brayden' last='Hermsdorf'], a 6-foot-6 forward who missed the contest due to illness.

The best player in the 60Eight Tournament in the two games played Friday, Riley had 30 points, seven rebounds and three assists to help Yorkville Christian beat Madison La Follette, 96-80. Equally impressive, Riley did not have a single turnover despite having the ball in his hands while breaking pressure defense for much of the contest. The NCAA Division I recruit for SIU-Edwardsville made some clutch shots whenever it looked like Madison La Follette might make a run at the his team. He made 9-of-11 foul shots and controlled the flow of the game with his ball handling and impressive basketball instincts.

Yorkville Christian got off to a hot start against Madison La Follette and led 43-34 at halftime before walking away with a convincing 96-80 triumph. And a big part of the strong start was the stellar play of Purvis, a lanky 6-foot-3 junior wing who shot the lights out at Madison College. Purvis finished with 16 points and made four-of-nine from three-point range with many coming in the first half when his team established control of the contest. In addition to scoring from deep, Purvis also got to the rim off of ball fakes and scored off the glass for Yorkville Christian.

The toughness and intentionality Jordan plays with each time out is apparent. He doesn't get deterred and will keep coming at you throughout the game even if he has a few setbacks. Jordan finished with a team-best 24 points while drawing four fouls. He is especially difficult to stop once he gets downhill toward the basket or even off of his post-up moves against other backcourt players. Jordan added four rebounds, an assist and a steal and is a potential first-team all-league player in the Big Eight Conference.
