Competing in the Badger Large Conference isn’t for the faint of heart so Oregon will need players other than Vaugh Karvala to step up their games in order for the Panthers to finish near the top of the eight-team circuit. Hoffer is one of those players who can make a big difference for the Panthers. He is strong with the ball, gets into the lane off the dribble and can use his physical strength and pivoting skill to finish at the rim. He also distributes the ball well to his teammate. Hoffer finished with 10 points against Franklin and is averaging just over 8.0 ppg on the season.
