2028-2029 Prospects Off to Good Starts

Against Goodhue recently Rechtzigel knocked down three 3-pointers scoring 15 points and handing out 6 assists, and before that game versus Rochester Lourdes he had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. In the previous game versus Bryon Rechtzigel drilled five 3-pointers scoring 24 points. Judah has scored at least 22 points in 4 of the 5 games using speed and quickness to get to the basket. Mitchell can be a dynamic ball handler and uses the same ball skills with the ball on defense without the ball.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2425100' first='Kaydon' last='Firchau'] - Firchau is a six-foot-four-inch 2028 wing from Madelia that in the opening game versus Cleveland scored 42 points, grabbed 7 boards, had 3 assists, 3 steals and blocked 2 shots. Against Mankato Loyola Firchau scored 27 points, grabbed 8 boards, had 4 steals, 2 assists and a block. The 2028 sophomore is a solid athlete, handles the ball on the perimeter well, runs the floor, and as you can see from stats, does a bit of everything on the floor. The outside jump shot looks pretty good mechanically and he has good rhythm.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2673170' first='Covin' last='Winter'] - Winter is a six-foot-five-inch 2028 forward that put together a 26 point, 15 rebound, and 6 block performance versus Madela and a 24 point, 15 rebound, 6 assists, 3 steals and 2 block game to open the season. In a game versus Nicollet, Winter scored 25 while blocking 2 shots and showed off his perimeter shooting making two 3-pointers. Winter's game from last May seems to be growing for him from being a front-court only player to being able to play on the wing.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/CovinWinter2028/status/1998162981750809058 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2560501' first='Koa' last='Fuller'] - Fuller is a six-foot-four-inch 2028 forward from Hill-Murray that recently had 26 point performance versus Red Wing and 17 point, 11 rebound game versus Liberty Classical Academy. Fuller, who is a defensive end in football, runs the floor well, and is a hyper active offensive rebounder. Fuller's ability to play the forward spot and produce on the wing is making him much more versatile. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2386616' first='Gavin' last='Bauer'] - Bauer is a six-foot-one-inch point guard from JWP who had a 28 point, 8 rebound, 3 block performance recently as well as another 27 point game. Bauer is a solid athlete that finishes solidly at the rim. Bauer outside shooting looks smooth.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2832193' first='Erik' last='Bakke'] - The 2028 Bakke who transferred to Maranatha from Blaine is playing JV/Varsity as a sophomore, has excellent size at six-foot-ten-inches tall, and has some skills and abilities you can't always teach. Defensively he can be disruptive with size and length, and recently for Maranatha showed off use in the open floor stealing a ball and taking it the length for slam. Bakke, who I saw last year at Blaine, always seems active around the basket, and swatting shots. We could see a major jump in on court awareness this season with Maranatha and then this spring/summer AAU with [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'].</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/SkyrakerConsult/status/2000333301379420407 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2417228' first='Liam' last='Oakland'] - The six-foot-two-inch 2028 guard from Northfield is averaging 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists while shooting 54% from the 3-pointer arc. Oakland positions well, gets open and is confident from the perimeter. At Northfield this season Oakland is showing he's a solid contributor off the ball and as a secondary ball handler.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/liam11_oakland/status/2000030121235800168 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] - The Goodhue sophomore who has been playing Varsity since 8th grade Loos versus Cannon Falls scored 30 points and grabbed 13 boards to lead them to a 91-75 win Friday night. Loos has good size for a guard at six-foot-three-inches tall and ever since I watched him play with 58 Hoops as an 8th grader, he's always moved a little quicker and been bigger than other players his age. Loos' ability to handle the ball and shoot from the perimeter gave him an edge offensively. In the previous game versus Kasson-Mantorville he scored 23 points in another victory.</p>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2908034' first='Owen' last='Johnston'] - Johnston is a 2029 guard from Mounds Park Academy that against Humboldt scored 26 points hitting 8 3-pointers while grabbing 5 boards and handing out 5 assists.
