Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Judah has been one of this season’s breakout players, going from a mostly JV role last season at CDH, to now starring on varsity at Kennedy. Despite an off shooting night, Judah still managed to match his average at 23 points on Monday, doing a nice job of staying aggressive to draw fouls. Mitchell was fearless attacking the basket, and used his body well to draw some fouls away from the basket as well. Judah plays with good change of speed and has the ball on a string to effortlessly maneuver through defenders. Defensively he did a great job of jumping passing lanes to rack up 5 steals.

– The five-foot-ten-inch 2028 Mitchell who transferred from Cretin-Derham Hall to Bloomington Kennedy this season is off to a strong start averaging 23.8 points per game through 5 games. Judah has scored at least 22 points in 4 of the 5 games using speed and quickness to get to the basket. Mitchell can be a dynamic ball handler and uses the same ball skills with the ball on defense without the ball.

Judah is already incredibly skilled and he was fun to watch with the ball in his hands. He impressed me most in isolation situations, having so many different ways he could create separation between defenders. He liked getting to his pull-up jumper from three and in the mid-range. Mitchell showed a lot of potential on Sunday and will be a prospect to watch out of Cretin-Derham Hall down the road.
