What a day of basketball it was on Saturday. The annual Sneakers For Santa Shootout is one of the must-attend events of the year in Indiana. This season's field featured a host of highly ranked teams, but also a plethora of highly ranked individual prospects. There were several college coaches in attendance throughout the day as the collection of talent at Brownsburg High School across seven games made for an excellent, and efficient, stop for evaluation. For game recaps and more in-depth information from each game be sure to check out Prep Hoops Indiana Live Blog. Now, let's dive in and highlight some of the top individual performers from the day.

This sophomore guard stepped up in a major way for the Wildcats on Saturday evening. Baker caught fire from three-point range early and never stopped. He went on to make seven three-pointers and led all scorers with 24 points in a 58-51 win for Lawrence North over Noblesville.

You can always count on the consistency of [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II']. The Valparaiso commit brings it on the defensive end of the floor, plays within the offense, and is electric as a shot-maker. Noblesville is off to a 1-3 start with losses to some of the best teams in the state, but Curry II continues to produce. He had 20 points in a tough 58-51 loss to Lawrence North on Saturday.

It comes as no surprise that we are writing about Ertel as one of the top performers at Saturday's event. The Marauders fell short against Fishers, losing 57-48, but Ertel was outstanding finishing with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Ertel, a Purdue signee, played in front of Boilermakers' head coach Matt Painter in this one.

No matter how many times you see him play, the explosiveness and end-to-end quickness of Gardner Jr. catches your attention. The #2 ranked prospect in the Class of 2027 by Prep Hoops Indiana finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead Fishers to an impressive 57-48 win over Mt. Vernon (Fortville).

Lampley has had an excellent start to his sophomore season at Pike routinely standing out not just against the best of the best from Indiana, but across the midwest as well. The Prep Hoops Indiana #1 prospect in the Class of 2028 finished with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals as Pike defeated Louisville Male 66-55.

Ranked as a Top 5 prospect in the Class of 2028 by Prep Hoops Kentucky, this sophomore sensation put on a show of his own against Pike on Saturday night. His versatility and ball skill really stand out as he poured in a game-high 23 points to go with 5 rebounds, but Louisville Male came up short losing to Pike in 66-55.
