Preseason Class AA All State Team

The Class AA basketball season is going to be incredible. There are a load of teams that could win state and all of them have good players, players you will find on our Preseason Class AA All State Team!   Class AA Preseason First Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] of Waseca (Sr). Russell showed during 17u, he is a division one basketball player. And if you don't believe me, three different programs in the Summit thought the same. Deron was incredible last March and we expect a huge season from him. Committed to North Dakota State football.   [player_tooltip player_id='2119578' first='Pierce' last='Petersohn'] of Triton (Sr). Because Pierce is such a highly rated football prospect, I think we forget that he averaged 29 points and 13 rebounds a game last year. His highlights often looked like one of those pros that goes to a youth camp and just kind of runs around kids and dunks. Huge season coming. Committed to Penn State football, but with a coaching change, other teams are in pursuit.   [player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin'] of Belle Plaine (Sr). Averaged 24 points and six rebounds last year for a 20 win team. Had a great season with Minnesota Swish last year and we think he could be a 30 point per game guy. Martin and Russell play very early in the season which is must see hoops.   [player_tooltip player_id='2524646' first='Griffin' last='Epema'] of Montevideo (Jr). Epema led his team to the state tournament last year with a 27 win season and he averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists and 3.5 steals a game last year. Epema had a first team all state season last year as a sophomore, so yes it translates to preseason All state as a junior.   [player_tooltip player_id='2569257' first='Marcus' last='Marshall'] Jr of Maranatha Christian Academy (Jr). Marshall scored 22 points a game for Minneapolis North as a sophomore and now he is at MCA where I think a massive season is coming. One of the best scorers in the state.     Class AA Preseason Second Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] of Hiawatha Collegiate (Jr). James averaged 16 points and 14 rebounds a game last year for a 16-13 team team and I think we could see this become about 25 and 17.   [player_tooltip player_id='2100912' first='Stephen' last='McGee'] of Greenway (Sr). Northern Michigan signed rim running big that had a great 17u season with the Comets. All conference player in two leagues last winter.   [player_tooltip player_id='1601069' first='Roman' last='Voss'] of Jackson County Central (Sr). Voss is currently finishing up a football season with numbers that I feel like only Derrick Henry can relate to. Last year he missed part of the hoops season before averaging 16 points, 4.5 rebounds and four assists a game.   [player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] of Goodhue (Soph). Averaged 19 points and six boards a game last winter helping his team to state. He then had a strong 15u season that became playing well at 17u with the Lightning.   [player_tooltip player_id='1560769' first='Ethan' last='Sonju'] of Glencoe-Silver Lake (Sr). Ethan might just lead the state in scoring. He was surely the points per game leader last spring/summer for 17u teams. Averaged 25 points a game as a junior.     Class AA Preseason Third Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] of Lake City (Jr). A versatile junior that could likely be used at any spot for his high school team.   [player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] of Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Sr). A Southwest Minnesota State signed forward that averaged 17 and eight last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='2815217' first='Logan' last='Junkermeier'] of Fairmont (Sr). Also signed with Southwest Minnesota State, Logan averaged 16 and nine after coming back from a broken finger.   [player_tooltip player_id='1951088' first='Luke' last='Roschen'] of Goodhue (Sr). Yet another Southwest Minnesota State signed player, Luke is that do it all, trusted tough guard for Goodhue.   [player_tooltip player_id='2126448' first='Colton' last='Purcell'] of Annandale (Jr). An explosive wing scorer that averaged 19 points a game last season.     Class AA Preseason Fourth Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2524653' first='Dawson' last='Hofer'] of Holdingford (Jr). Put up 26.4 points and 8.7 boards a game last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='2417301' first='Hunter' last='Vinkemeier'] of Le Sueur-Henderson (Jr). Averaged 16.7 points and ten boards a game last season.   [player_tooltip player_id='2436914' first='Kellen' last='Troup'] of Minnehaha Academy (Jr). Scored ten a game for a state team, big potential.   [player_tooltip player_id='2118459' first='Carson' last='McMichael'] of Blake (Sr). Scored 19 a game for a top ten, 22 win team.   [player_tooltip player_id='1560791' first='Muaath' last='Muhammad'] of Breck (Sr). Had a great 17u season, very good decision making lead guard.     Class AA Preseason Fifth Team   [player_tooltip player_id='1560786' first='Lexyn' last='Grof'] of Holy Family (Sr). One of the betters shooters on this list, Jordan transfer.   [player_tooltip player_id='2127213' first='Tollef' last='Birkeland'] of Pequot Lakes (Jr). Good prospect that has dealt with injuries, scored 13 a game last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='2126149' first='Cayden' last='Lea'] of Rushford-Peterson (Jr). Three time all league player already.   [player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] of Minnehaha Academy (Jr). Breck transfer, should have a big year.   [player_tooltip player_id='1628773' first='Isaac' last='Asmus'] of Aitkin (Sr). Committed to Superior, double double big.   [player_tooltip player_id='2387331' first='Grant' last='King'] of Caledonia (Soph). Scored nine/ten a game for a top four team in state last year.     Class AA Preseason Sixth Team   [player_tooltip player_id='1560864' first='JP' last='Musoke'] of Breck (Sr). Averaged ten points and 5.5 boards a game.   [player_tooltip player_id='1858796' first='Ezra' last='Cunningham'] of St. Paul Academy (Sr). Gave his team 19.4 points and seven boards a game.   [player_tooltip player_id='2420045' first='Carson' last='McDonald'] of East Grand Forks (Sr). Scored nearly 20 a game for a good team last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='1560751' first='Weston' last='Rowe'] of Jackson County Central (Sr). Averaged 17 points and seven boards a game,   [player_tooltip player_id='2912515' first='Will' last='Bromeland'] of Blue Earth (Sr). All league player that great into a prospect as a 17u player.
