Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Ezra helped lead his team past Pro One TN on Saturday morning, showcasing his versatility on the floor. He mixed in some pull-up jumpers from mid-range with a few physical buckets in the paint. Ezra did a nice job of moving his feet to defend smaller players, and swatted a pair of shots around the basket when his man looked to drive past him. Always a strong rebounding presence, with Minnesota Heat missing a couple of key players Ezra stepped up as a scorer as well.

Able to play as a big-wing or more of a stretch-four, Ezra showcased his versatility at 6’6 over the weekend with Minnesota Heat. He was a major transition threat as he runs the floor hard and has the coordination to convert on contested looks at the rim. Has the length to get up in passing lanes for steals out on the perimeter, and was holding his own when defending against forwards in the paint. Ezra was an active presence on the defensive glass, and after pulling in a rebound showed the skill to push the break on his own, or find a deep outlet pass.

Ezra is coming off a standout year with St. Paul Academy. The 6’5 wing had his way with defenders on Wednesday. He was able to bully his way for easy baskets, or step outside to hit some 3’s. He used his length well to get some blocks and deflections. Look for him to have a big summer with Heat Conyers.
