Gonzaga Prep took home the state title last season, dominating all season long while only losing 2 games. They will see some key pieces graduating from last years team but will have a solid group of current seniors on the squad. Puyallup took 2nd last season after having a fantastic run during the state tournament. Drew Jones was a big part of that run and he was one of those players who graduated last year. Glacier Peak took home 3rd, having a consistent season throughout. They will have to replace Jo Lee, but with a solid group coming back, they could contend. Richland finished 4th and with only 2 seniors leaving and [player_tooltip player_id='2375347' first='Lance' last='Horntvedt'] plus Landon Northrop coming back, they will be a problem once again. West Valley finished 5th last season with Landon Birley leading the charge and helping lead the team deep, they will have a good group returning as well.

Richland - With [player_tooltip player_id='2375347' first='Lance' last='Horntvedt'] at the helm, this team will compete with anyone throughout the season. Landon Northrop is a quick guard with a high motor and able to get buckets easily when getting to his spots. Those two combine to be a top duo in the entire 4A class and with underclassman [player_tooltip player_id='2739561' first='Jackson' last='Woodard'] there too, this team will once again compete for the state title.

Puyallup - I once again believe that Puyallup will be able to compete for the state title again and will be able to partially replace Drew Jones (hard to replace someone like that). [player_tooltip player_id='1863244' first='Mason' last='Sonntag'] is a three level scorer and a player who plays under control at all times, playing off 2 feet and staying alert at all times. [player_tooltip player_id='2375350' first='Lawson' last='Looker'] is a high energy guard who knocks down deep shot at a high rate. [player_tooltip player_id='1685506' first='Will' last='Nasinec'] is a lengthy post player who rebounds well and will be a matchup nightmare for other teams.

Mount Si - Mount Si is 100% going to be a top 4A team in the state this season. Latt Ford had announced he was headed to a prep school but I believe he could be back in the state for Mount Si. [player_tooltip player_id='2021624' first='Brady' last='Hennig'], a Boise St commit, will be back healthy and ready to compete for a title. He scores from all 3 levels and is a dynamic wing. [player_tooltip player_id='1863247' first='Chase' last='Mentink'] is one of my favorite point guards in the state as he always gets his teammates involved but knows how to get buckets too, he is a silent killer on the court who is slept on. [player_tooltip player_id='2626178' first='Liam' last='Heide'] adds more height down-low for the squad too.
